I think i'll make shorter chapters from now on, as to try to post more often. (chapters of 4k words more or less) Of course you will maybe get some longer chapters, mostly when we get into the battles as I will try to write them well enough, or with key moments. Tell me if you prefer shorter but more regular chapters or longer but less regular posts. I will try to write fast to have more chapters ready in case I get really sick again and can't write at all for a while. So sorry if it looks rushed, I will come back and edit the chapters eventually.

It took more than a whole day for Daenyra to finally wake up. The shock weakened her, and her body rejecting her dead child didn't help. Aemond didn't come back that day, returning only the next morning, and since then, he has not left her side anymore. He held her hand, brushed her hair from time to time, or laid with her on their bed. He didn't go to train, he didn't eat the meals that were brought to him, and he hasn't talked to anyone since the incident. Helaena came the night before. She had laid next to Daenyra's unresponsive form and was asleep when Aemond entered their chambers at the first lights.
Alicent came as well in the morning, pleased to see her son. But her worry came back gradually when he wouldn't talk to her or even look at her. He shut himself down completely.
Daenyra woke up on the second morning. And she found Aemond laying his head on her side while holding her hand. He was sitting on a chair, his hair was unusually disheveled. For a moment Daenyra couldn't remember anything that had happened. She gave Aemond's hand a squeeze. Aemond instantly shot up, looking at her with a wide eye, his eyepatch not on his face.
He studied her for a moment, making sure he was not dreaming and stood up to kiss her forehead longingly.
"What happened?" Daenyra asked, her voice hoarse from the lack of use and her scream.
Aemond's eye was clouded with sorrow.
Daenyra tried to sit up, a sharp pain instantly spreading into her belly as she gasped loudly with a cry.
"Do not strain yourself, my love" Aemond said weakly, pushing her back into a lying position.
Then the events came back to her, and the pain she felt in her belly made her click. Her eyes went wide, tears already filling them, blurring her vision. "My.. m-my baby..?" She turned towards Aemond and when she saw his already sagged shoulders fall even more, his face contorted in pain and tears escaping his already red and circled eye, she lost it.
"They're gone... I am sorry... I should have stayed with you. My love, I am so so sorry..." Aemond kept shaking his head, more tears running down his face.
Daenyra sobbed loudly, bringing her hand to her mouth and the other on her now empty belly. And she wept. Aemond quickly brought himself with her on the bed, holding her tightly against his chest as she cried and weakly hit his chest in her desperation. She cried for hours, until she eventually cried herself to sleep.
The weeks that followed, Aemond remained by her side, still refusing to leave the room. Daenyra had woken up several times, people came in to see how she was faring, but she never said anything. It was like she lost her tongue the moment she figured she lost their baby.
Aemond and everyone else were worried sick. She would not get out of bed, Aemond had to carry her to the bathtub for her to wash, she was barely eating, her bones already starting to show more and mostly only cried all day. And when she stopped crying, it was even worse, she would just stare into the void with empty eyes.
Aemond, who's days consisted of holding his wife as much as he could, trying to get her to speak or eat, eventually started to go out again, he would take part in small council meetings in her place. He made sure to note everything that was said for when she would return.
