Confused whispers echoed throughout the crowd, sorority sisters and frat brothers turning to each other and murmuring in each other's ear.

"What the fuck does she mean, UNICEF??" you fumed, hands shaking uncontrollably at your sides.

"She must have changed her mind, at the last minute," Sana breathed.

"Is she even allowed to do that?" Kaiya frowned. "She didn't have the support of anyone else in the sorority. We all agreed to support you, and Sweets in Need!"

"Since when has she given a shit about rules?" Rin wrinkled her nose. "She's kind of the sorority president. She doesn't have to follow rules, especially here at MTokyo."

Minami Tokyo University, more commonly known as MTokyo, was a smaller school, just south of the prestigious and widely known Tokyo University. While all the courses and clubs were just as good here at MTokyo, there was less of a demand to go, since the name wasn't as famous.

MTokyo had also garnered the reputation as the Tokyo party school. So even though it was still quite hard to get in, especially for sports, people tended to go there solely based off the rumors of raucous parties.

"What do we do?" Mayumi glared up at the stage, hands on her hips. "We can't just let her get away with this!"

The crowd, clearly deciding just to go with the flow — because the flow inevitably meant more alcohol and fun — began to clap and cheer.

"Thank you!" Shimizu beamed that perfect smile of hers down on them, pleased that they had agreed without question. Then, seemingly seeking you out of the crowd, she smirked at you.

"She knows exactly what she's doing," you seethed, fists clenching and unclenching, until your hands hurt.

"Hey, babe, it's gonna be okay." Atsumu still held your waist, squeezing firmly right below the ribs. "We'll go and talk to her, and see what we can do. UNICEF is still a great organization-"

"Tsumu!" you exclaimed, slapping his hand away. "What do you mean, it's still a great organization?? I've wanted this since I became a Kappa! This is what I need to make a change in the world. I can't just have a respectful conversation with her, I need to do something about it, right now."

Atsumu glanced at you, then over at your friends. Sana sighed, fixing her eyeshadow, using her phone as a mirror. Rin groaned, shrugging her shoulders. Kaiya stared at you worriedly, but didn't say anything. Mayumi ran a hand through her hair and checked her nails.

"Stop looking at them!" you exclaimed. "Clearly, no one else is gonna do or say something."

Atsumu kissed your cheek. "Well, you know I'm not opposed to a bit of conflict. Let's-"

"Hey Kiyoko!" you yelled, so loud Sana and Kaiya covered their ears. Mayumi and Rin grabbed each others hands, grinning eagerly at you like they were watching a juicy drama.

The raven-haired beauty slowly turned her head towards you, a fake smile plastered across her face. "Yes, Kamiko?" she managed through gritted teeth.

"Last I — and everyone else here — heard, Kappa Alpha Theta had chosen Sweets in Need as the organization we were donating to this year. What happened?"

"Things changed, Kamiko," Shimizu said smoothly. "We decided to stick with tradition. UNICEF is an incredibly important organization, and we felt it was better to stay loyal to them."

"Who's 'we'?" you demanded, glaring at her venomously.

"Me, and the rest of the sorority committee." Shimizu pursed her lips. "And the decision is final. We will be supporting UNICEF. And if you don't want to, then-"

"Then what?" Damn, you were interrupting people a lot today. You had been trying to break that habit for awhile now, but you supposed this was a special case. "You'll kick me out of the sorority?"

Shimizu shrugged, then tapped her chin daintily, like she was thinking. "Yeah. Yeah I will, Kamiko. If you think you can defy me and the rest of the committee, then you're not welcome in the sisterhood anymore."

"Oh my gosh, is she gonna kick Ebina-san out?" Yachi Hitoka, a Kappa first-year and Shimizu 's Little (sort of like her mentee), gasped. She was very much loud enough for everyone to hear her, and whispers began breaking out amongst the crowd.

You fought to ignore the annoying blonde. But in reality, you were ready to spit glass at her. Not just her. At Shimizu, the sorority committee, and everyone else standing here laughing, and doing nothing to support you. They were just going to allow Shimizu to get her way, once again. As if they didn't give a shit.

But no. Not you. Because if you were known for anything, it was your opinions. And you sure as hell had a strong opinion about this. And unlike everyone else, you were going to do something about it.

"Fuck that!" you yelled, marching towards the front of the stage, hands on your hips.

"Damn, looking good Kami!" Someone whistled from the middle of the crowd.

"Shut up, Yuuji," you tossed back at him without looking. You finally made it to the bottom of the stage, and marched right up the stairs to stand next to Shimizu.

You gazed out at the crowd, trying to hype yourself up. Fuck it, you were already pissed off enough.

A flash of curly black hair. You blinked down at the crowd, your heart suddenly thudding out of your chest, your still-healing ribs twinging. You thought you'd just seen... in between Shirabu and Suna...

Shimizu watched you, a perfectly sculpted eyebrow raised. "What the hell are you doing up here, Kamiko?" she hissed under her breath, snapping you out of your trance. "You know I wasn't fucking around when I said that I will kick your ass out of this sorority, if you question me. So don't. Fucking. Try. It."

You smirked, eyes blazing and heart thudding with anger. You couldn't get distracted by your past right now. You had made up your mind. Would you regret it? You had no idea. But right now, you gave no shits. "Guess what, Kiyoko? I don't give a shit. Since you're not going to sponsor Sweets in Need, the organization that we all agreed on — because it won the vote — then I quit. I'm leaving Kappa Alpha Theta. And I'm gonna start my own sorority, and all the money we raise will be going to them." You looked out at the crowd. "And if anyone else wants to join me, come find me. If not, fuck you guys."

You raised both middle fingers up in the air, and knew that it was, in a way, a war symbol.

laska's note —
OOH MY GIRL ATE THAT UPPP!! 🤪 if kamiko is gonna do anything, it's share her opinion, and not let anyone get in the way of what she wants! she gives no shits if she's the only one. now let's just hope it pays off for her... i wonder who else will join her in her campaign, especially since it means leaving the comfort of the established sorority?
also on another note make sure to read my other fics, which are kpop related! summer day is completed, with autumn evening (in the same series) being close to done 👀 and lastly, fairytale is getting to the really juicy stuff!! if you love me go support hehe okay bye 😚
