Y/n had started to run towards the area that Kugisaki Nobara would die.

She had told Geto to make way outside and make sure civilians are safe due to the fight between Jogo and Sukuna and Mahoraga and Sukuna.

Geto complied and trusted Y/n would be safe before quickly leaving through an exit, but he did summon a cursed spirit to follow Y/n’s command just in case an emergency would happen.

Y/n then continued on her way and soon made it to the area.

She was too late, Nobara had already been touched by Mahito. His hand on her right eye.

Y/n made a ‘tch’ noise before waiting for the right moment to revive Nobara.

Yuji stood there. Terrified. His breath got shaky

Mahito had a smile on his face as he made his way towards Yuji, punching him

Mahito grinned with excitement, ‘So this is what it feels like!’ Mahito used his technique to stretch his arm like rubber and grab Yuji by his hood and bringing him towards Mahito

Landing another fatal hit

Yuji spat out buckets of blood, he could have fought back, but his will to was gone

Mahito kept bashing Yuji, throwing him around as if he were a toy, until Yuji had hit a wall, causing him to slump and his head to lower down

“You are me, Yuji Itadori”

“I kill people with no thought, and you, save people without a second thought”

Mahito started to beat Yuji, with each hit he'd say something

“This war will determine who will stand alive in a century”

“Hey Yuji, have you counted how many curses you've killed?”

“Ah.. don't worry, I haven't counted how many humans I've killed either! I couldn't care less!”

Mahito raised his hand, slowly morphing it into a sickle and getting ready to do the finishing blow off of Yuji

“I'm sure I'll even forget about you eventually”

Just when Mahito was about to strike, a clap was heard in the distance

Mahito had a bit of a confused expression on his face, realizing Yuji wasn't there anymore as another voice spoke up

“The bells of the Gion monastery in India…”

“Echo with the warning that all things are impermanent”

“The blossoms of the sala trees teach us through their hues”

“That what flourishes must fade”

Todo adjusted his jacket as Mahito looked at the newcomer

“However!”

“We… are the exception!”

Y/n peeked around as she sat on Geto's shoulders

“Coast is clear, but still be quiet, they're still close” Y/n whispered as Geto nodded and made his way to Nobara

Y/n jumped off of Geto and went close to Nobara, she put her hand on a certain part of Nobara's neck to feel If there is a pulse
