LOST HALF J.J.K x Y/N

Part 1

"Mr.Jeon, are you busy?" Jungkook was busy looking for the files when the message on his screen popped up. It was from his wife, y/n. They've been married for almost two months but they never uttered a word to each other. A week ago, he asked his assistant to persuade her to live in his apartment as his parents wanted. She arrived yesterday but they never saw each other.

In the past two months, he always hoped that she will call him on her own but she was so involved in enjoying the wonderful life that she never did. 

He was disappointed and he convinced himself to bring her to live with him. They're a wedded couple nevertheless. Tonight she texted him so she might expect something from him. He replied, "No, what's the matter?" "We need to talk!" He thought this is the best opportunity to know what type of girl she is. He replied," Okay! I will be there in 20 minutes." He left all his work and hurried to the parking lot. Tonight, he was excited to know what type of girl his wife is. He drove the car too fast. After twenty minutes, he arrived at his apartment. He parked the car hurriedly and went upstairs.

 In his apartment, y/n was standing beside the French window doing something on her phone when the door suddenly opened.

He was sweating profusely but maintaining a noble aura around him. Many girls would have died seeing this handsome man but Y/n didn't even look up to him. He locked the door behind him while staying calm and then he cleared his throat. "mhmm" She looked up at him in his eyes ignoring his handsome body and said," Mr.Jeon!?" "yes" he replied. "well, Mr.Jeon how about you go and take a bath first? We can talk after that." "Okay!" he replied softly. After taking a hot bath, he texted her "I'm done." Then he went to the living room and sat himself down on the sofa. After a minute or two, she also came, still playing with her phone. She looked into his eyes like she was seeing through his soul. she then said," Mr.Jeon, I just want to ask you for something." "Go ahead" He was pretty sure that she will ask him

for money. Interrupting his thoughts, she said," Mr.Jeon, I wanted to ask if I can use your kitchen?" Jungkook felt like a bomb dropped on his head. He was annoyed with his wishful thinking. Without noticing his expression, she continued.

"Mr.Jeon, since I came here I only ate cup noodles which I brought along with me but I can't survive eating only cup noodles so please let me use your kitchen. I will pay for my food. Don't worry.!" His face turned black but he still controlled his emotions by giving a smile and saying," okay! you can use the kitchen."

"Thank you, Mr.Jeon!"

She went back to her room leaving him behind.

They were married but they sleep in different rooms.

On their wedding night, she told him," Mr.Jeon, I know you don't like me so I think it's useless to spend our wedding night making love...I just hope that we will never interfere with each other's lives and maybe we can have a contractual marriage."

At that time, he was not in the mood to talk with her so he only said, "En...we will talk about it later." and that's how they spent the wedding night sleeping on the bed and couch.
Now, she thinks that it's time to make a contract and live their lives on their own.
The whole night, Jungkook tossed right and left on the bed because of his insomnia.
He has always had insomnia since a teenager and that's why he never had a good night.

While he wasn't able to sleep, y/n was busy listening to music using her headphones and chatting with her friends on the phone.

She didn't even know knew she was sound asleep.
They got married but they didn't have any contact with each other because he never saw her after the wedding night. At that time,

In the morning, when he woke up he found out that she left and there were no traces of her. He thought maybe she had some work so she would come back later but she never came back. It shattered the very hope in him.

He decided to not let her affect his heart and mind but it didn't work.

He wanted a normal married life like everyone else but all he got in return was only coldness. He is said to be the most ruthless CEO in the city but he eventually had a soft spot for Y/n. He also didn't know why.

He just felt that she deserves to be treated better.
Maybe because she has become his family and everyone cares about their family eventually. But there was something else in her that alters his mind. Something incredible.

It has been days since they had a talk and now they're busy with their respective tasks. Y/n is just super free and she had no work to do as her clients are in a different city... She is a psychologist and helps people deal with their emotions. These days she was thinking about signing the contract with him. After much thought, she texted him... "Mr.Jeon, Should we sign the contract now? I hope you have no objections." After sending the message, she got busy talking to one of her patients on call.

Meanwhile, Jungkook was confused after reading the text but he still decided to give it a thought and after thinking about it for an hour he finally texted her, "Okay! Let's draw the contract tonight!" After sending the text, he was still pondering over the fact that his wife wanted to sign a contract with him and he would have a contractual marriage.

In the evening, he left the company early and came back to his apartment.

The lights of the apartment were off and there was no one around.

He turned on the lights and saw that y/n was sitting on the sofa with her eyes closed, headphones plugged in.

He was somewhat attracted to his young wife but he still remembered the words she said to him on their wedding night.

He didn't make a sound and went to his room.
After taking a long bath and dressing up, he finally came out and saw y/n cooking instant noodles in the kitchen.

He has always dream't that once in his life when he came back home from work, he would find his wife cooking for him.

He was busy in his thoughts when he saw y/n eating all the noodles by herself.

His dream was shattered and he was left with his broken heart.

He didn't speak a word to her and just sat on the couch.

After finishing her noodles, y/n finally noticed him.

She was waiting for him since she received his message.

Y/n was the one to break the ice-cold silence between them saying..."Mr.Jeon, are you ready to sign the contract?"

He nodded.
Then they began to draw the contract. Jungkook was party A while y/n was party B. The first clause stated that Party A and Party B will never interfere with each other's lives.

The second clause stated that they will pretend to be a happy couple in front of their family but strangers in front of outsiders.

The third clause stated that party b can stay at party a's apartment and can cook in the kitchen. In return, party a can ask party b for a favour once.

Finally, after two hours their contract was ready to sign. They signed their respective name and shook their hands together. Y/n confessed, "May we have a happy cooperation!" Jungkook just nodded.

Days passed since they signed the contract and just like stated in their contract, they never interfered with each other's lives.

They don't even talk to each other. These days y/n was busy thinking about going back to her city and restarting her normal life. Today, she was booking a flight ticket so that she can fly away in a day or two when the doorbell rang.

She was confused because Jungkook knew the pass code himself and she never got out of the apartment, so she never bothered about the pass code.

While she was busy thinking about that, the doorbell rang once again.
