I could hear Hae In and mother-in-law crying their hearts out. Hae In's broken sobs made me feel restless. I had to do something. And that something was take Hae In-ah in my arms, hug her tight and protect her from everything that was making her cry.

I was about to pace to release some tension when the door opened. Only Hae In came out. Her eyes were puffy. Her nose was so red. She cried so much. But she did not look broken. She looked relieved. She still looked so beautiful.

"You need water... to stay dehydrated"

I got smacked in the arm as a reply.
