Aahan as soon as reached his office after his meeting, went to check his emails to see if Mahi had sent him any email .
This was what he had been doing since morning; the meeting he had with her was at three in the afternoon , which meant Mahi would email him before three .
But all his patience had left the chat , he was checking his email app in any break he had to check if he got any email from his best friend. Of Course every time there was no luck it was as if she was deliberately making him wait .
But unlike before this time he saw two emails from her , which made him almost jump out of his seat .
He was acting quite out of his character today , he quickly sat back again and opened the first email, which had the subject “ the conditions”
The email was something like this
“ My dear bestfriend,
I know how much your life is fucked up , and you don't leave a chance to fuck my life up too , but what can I do when i literally signed up for this .
As if being your unpaid therapist was not enough , now you ask me to marry you .
I thought you must be out of your mind . But guess I'm out of my mind too because now your bitch ass made me agree to it too , and I'll have to be your wife for a year if not less .
Anyway , Don't get the wrong idea I'm not agreeing for the investment deal or something , that's just a bonus for the time i’ll tolerate your hilter dadi , I'm doing this because you desperately asked for my help , so you better not get cocky with me , or I'll tell your mom everything. Including the times you spent one night stands telling her you were at my place.
And yes this email doesn't have any conditions, [ laughing emojis] , the conditions are specified in the next email, see you in the meeting .
I bet you were desperately checking for an email from me [ evil laughing emojis]”
Aahan tsked after reading the email , he knew how much she liked pulling his leg , and even in this serious time she hasn't changed a bit .
He opened the next email to check the conditions
“ To: Aahan Malhotra
From : Mahika Sharma
I want these five conditions of mine to be added in the contract , you are free to add your conditions and after coming to an agreement we can sign the contract.
1. During the time Aahan Malhotra and Mahika Sharma will be married, both of them will not date anyone else .
2. Aahan Malhotra and Mahika Sharma will not consummate their marriage or engage in any form of physical intimacy.if this happens the contract will be nullified immediately.
3. Aahan Malhotra and Mahika Sharma will not reveal the contract to their families or anyone else other than the legal officials, even in case of both being in a disagreement or at the end of the contract .
4. During the time of the contract Aahan Malhotra will play all the duties of a son-in-law to Mahika Sharma’s family and vice versa.
5. Aahan Malhotra will invest in Mahika Sharma's Restaurant business and the investment will be continued even after the contract ends.”
As Aahan read the conditions one by one , he was both amused and disheartened, he didn't know the reason for him feeling this way but he could understand her too , marriage is not a child’s play and if they wanted to keep the friendship safe they had to set such boundaries to prevent any problem for occuring.
He sent the email as it is to his , lawyer and asked him to add them in the contract along with his conditions.
After that he got up to leave for his next meeting. His assistant Nikki came inside at the exact moment to inform him .
She stood there in the door to let him pass , before following him out herself.
