It has been two months since their investigation and Monami was getting impatient day by day as there wasn't any progress yet. She was feeling irritated that she and her team were getting nothing out of that investigation, so she decided to visit Amrita's hospital in disguise. She was there with her entire team and was connected with her team via bluetooth. She said...

Monami (While looking around) - Be very careful, guys. Hum yaha sirf information lene aaye hai. Dr. Amrita Shergill ka cabin dhoondho aur mujhe batao. Baki sab yaha ke staff se baat karne ki koshish karo.

All of them entered inside the hospital and split up in different directions as per Monami's orders. Arvind and Divya went towards the reception area. The others were following different doctors discretely. Akash and Monami were also trying to find Amrita's cabin.

After some time, the others didn't get anything but Monami was able to find Amrita's cabin. It was at the end of the corridor. She hurriedly went towards the cabin and looked here and there before opening the door. Surprisingly, it wasn't locked as she was expecting a closed door in Amrita's absence. She shrugged her shoulders and again looked towards the other end of the corridor and found Dr. Samir Asthana, who was caming over there but he was talking to someone beside him, so he wasn't aware of her presence near that cabin.

She was tensed as how to dodge him but in the next second someone pulled her inside and pinned her to the inner wall while covering her mouth. At first, she was shocked and was about to react but when she saw that it was Karan. She took a deep breath of relief visibally. She nodded at him and he nodded at her while removing his hand from her mouth but he didn't move from his place.

After some minutes, Dr. Asthana passed by there and left towards his cabin. Because of the tension, both took a deep breath out of relief but they suddenly realized there closeness. They didn't know that they were staring at each other continuously. In those two months, they have come closer to each other. May be, it was because of their children or may be, it was because of Amrita's case. If they were friends before then they are more than friends now. They have started to ask about each other's schedules or about each other's favorite food or about each other's favorite travelling destinations but they were trying to avoid those feelings or clossness. He moved away from her a little and asked...

Karan (While clearing his throat) - Aap... Yaha kaise, Monami?

Monami (Not looking at him) - Vo... Vo hum Amritaji ke baare me pata lagane yaha aaye the.

Karan (Creasing his brows) - Aapki team bhi yahi pe hai?

Monami (While nodding her head) - Haa, Karan. Vo bahar yaha ke doctors ke baare me investigate kar rahe hai. Main to Amritaji ka cabin dhoondh rahi thi... (Looking around) Shayad yaha se mujhe kuch pata chal jay... (Confusingly looking at him) Par aap yaha kya kar rahe hai, Karan?

Karan - Main yaha har thode din me aata rehta hu, Monami. Actually... Amrita ke jaane ke baad ab main is hospital ka guardian hu but mujhe to medical ya usse judi koi knowledge nahi hai. Main business related baatein hi zyadatar samjh pata hu but ye hospital Amrita ke liye koi business nahi tha. To maine yaha ke sabse senior doctor ko is hospital ka dhyan rakhne ki zimmedaari di hai. Vo mujhse yaha ki har cheez ke baare me baat karte hai, jab main yaha aata hu to, ki is hospital me kis cheez ki zaroorat hai aur yaha sab thik chal raha hai ya nahi.

Monami (While nodding her head thoughtfully) - Hmm... Let me guess... Aapne is hospital ki zimmedaari Dr. Samir Asthana ko di hai na? Kyuki as far as I know about this hospital's staff, vahi sabse senior doctor hai yaha, hai na?

Karan - Haa, aap sahi soch rahi hai.

Monami (While creasing her brows) - But aapne to kaha tha na ke Amritaji aur Dr. Asthana ki kabhi nahi bani aur Dr. Asthana, according to Amritaji, sahi aadmi nahi hai?

Karan - Haa, maine kaha to tha but jab maine investigate karaya unke baare me, to mujhe to kuch abhi tak galat dikha nahi hai. Ab agar aapko kuch pata chalta hai, to aap mujhe bata sakti hai.

Monami (Confusingly) - Kya aapko apni biwi ke opinion pe bharosa nahi hai, Karan? Kya aapko nahi lagta ke shayad aapki biwi sahi ho... About Dr. Asthana? Agar Dr. Asthana sach me koi bure insaan nikle to?

Karan (While taking a deep breath) - Dekhiye... Bharosa karne ya naa karne ki baat hi nahi hai yaha. Main ek Businessman hu aur main facts pe zyada dhyan deta hu. Abhi facts, ye kehte hai ke Dr. Asthana me koi problem nahi hai. Haa magar... Mujhe Amrita ki kahi hui baatein bhi bahot ache se yaad hai, to meri hamesha Dr. Asthana pe nazar rehti hai aur is hospital pe bhi.

Monami (While pointing a finger at him) - But facts to kabhi kabaar galat bhi ho sakte hai na, Karan? Unhe badla bhi to jaa sakta hai na logo ki nazar me?

Karan (While nodding his head) - Isiliye maine kaha na ke meri Dr. Asthana pe nazar hai aur ab to aap aur aapki team bhi hai na meri madad ke liye, Monami...???!!!

Monami (While taking a deep breath) - Hmm... I guess... Jab tak Dr. Asthana ke baare me kuch bhi pukhta pata nahi chalta, tab tak unke baare me kuch bhi bolna bekaar hoga... (While looking around) Kya aap pehle kabhi Amritaji ke cabin me aaye hai, unke gayab hone ke baad se?

Karan (Confusingly) - Nahi... Pata nahi kyu but ye cabin hamesha locked hi raha hai. Agar main bhi kahu, tab bhi ye cabin nahi khola jaata tha. To main is cabin ko skeleton key se kholkar hi andar ghusa hu. Hamesha ye bolkar baat ko taal diya jaata tha ke investigation chal rahi hai, to vo log kisiko bhi andar jaane nahi dena chahte ke jisse koi evidence contaminate ho.

She didn't answer him but just nodded her head while looking around. They kept looking around for half an hour but they didn't find anything and because of that Monami got so frustrated that she hit her hand on the table but she didn't know that it was a button and when she hit there, she pressed that button unknowingly. When she did that a secret compartment opened up from a nearby wall. They both looked at each other and went near that compartment. They found some files and a pandrive there. Monami asked...

Monami (While picking up the pandrive) - Karan... Kya aapko is baare me kuch pata tha?

Karan (While taking out those files) - Bilkul nahi, Monami... Agar mujhe pata hota, to main pehle hi police ko sabkuch bata deta.

Monami (While looking at him) - Koi baat nahi... Main in sab cheezon ko zara ek baar dekh leti hu. Uske baad jo kuch bhi hoga, vo aapko inform karti hu. Itne waqt ki mehnat ke baad kuch to haasil hua hai. I'm sure, isse hume zaroor koi na koi jaankari milegi.

Karan (While nodding his head thoughtfully) - I hope so, Monami...!!!
