Monami was in his study and was just looking around to pass her time as it's been half an hour already. When she was looking around, she saw a photo frame of Karan, Amrita and Aarav. Karan (Smilingly walking up to her) - Vo tab ki tasveer hai, jab hum Udaipur ki trip pe gaye the aur Aarav tab bahot chhota tha.

Monami (With a smile) - Kafi khush dikh rahe hai aap log, Karan.

Karan (Smilingly looking at the photo frame) - Haa... Ye humari sabse achi memories me se ek hai.

Monami (Getting a bit serious) - Mujhe aapko kuch batana tha. Amritaji ko bahot kuch pata chala tha apne gayab hone se pehle. Mujhe un files me bahot kuch detail me mila hai. Un files me na sirf unke hospital staff ki details hai, balki kaafi descriptive details hai.

Karan (While creasing his brows) - Kya details hai unme, Monami?

Monami (While taking a deep breath) - Sabkuch hai... Unki daily lives, unke other relations... Even affairs... Vo hospital me konsi position pe hai, kya karte hai... Vo hospital ke bahar kya karte hai, kisse milte hai, kyu milte hai, kitne baje milte hai. Even, un files me to kuch employees ki call details bhi hai us time ki aur kuch ki bakayda, conversations bhi mili hai mujhe.

Karan (Shockingly) - Itna detail me...???!!!

Monami (While frowning a little) - Vahi to meri samjh me nahi aa raha tha ke sirf ek civilian aur ek doctor ko itni information kaha se mili...!!! (To Karan) Karan, kya aapki jaankari me koi Private Detective hai, jo Amritaji ki madad kar sakta ho? Kyuki itni details nikalna kisi aam insaan ke bas ki baat nahi hai.

Karan (While creasing his brows) - Haa... Ek ko jaanta hu main aur maine use milvaya bhi tha Amrita se ek baar. Vo dost hai mera but meri usse pichhle do hafton se baat nahi hui hai. Vo na to mera call pick kar raha hai aur na hi mere messages ka koi reply de raha hai. Mujhe laga ke shayad vo apne kisi case me busy hoga to maine zyada dhyan nahi diya.

Monami (Immediately) - Kya hum unse ek baar mil sakte hai? Please... Ye shayad bahot crucial ho sakta hai Amritaji ke case ke liye...!!!

Karan - Haa... Sure. Hum usse mil sakte hai... Vaise us pandrive ka kya hua? Kya usse kuch pata chala?

Monami (Nodding her head negatively) - Nahi, Karan. Abhi tak to kuch nahi kyuki vo pandrive encrypted hai. Meri team lagi hui hai use kholne me. Jaise hi kuch pata chalta hai, to main aapko batati hu.

Karan (While taking a deep breath) - Koi baat nahi... One step at a time. Chaliye, lunch kar lete hai. Bache bhi khelke thak gaye hoge, ab unhe khila bhi dete hai.

Monami (With a smile) - Haa, chaliye.

When Monami and Karan got out of the study, they didn't know the kids were playing there only. Suddenly, because of their toys, Monami lost her footing and was about to fall down but Karan was quick. He immediately held her from her stomach and pulled her back.

Because of the sudden turn of events, she was in shock for a second but when he saved her, she took a deep breath of relief but then she realised their position. She cleared her throat and stepped away from him slowly. She said...

Monami (While looking down) - Thank you, Karan.

Karan (While looking for the kids) - It's okay, Monami. Par mujhe Zara humare bacho ko dhoondhne dijiye. Aisi laparwahi bhi thik nahi hai.

Monami (While widening her eyes) - Humare... Bache...!!!

That's when he realised that he spoke up without thinking. He looked at her embarrassingly and said...

Karan (With a forced smile) - I mean... Mera beta Aarav aur... Aapki beti Aditi... Chaliye, unhe dhoondhte hai.

They immediately left towards his son's bedroom and when they opened the door, they found them sleeping peacefully beside each other. Karan and Monami smiled at them and Monami said...

Monami (In a joking manner) - Ye lijiye... Ye to so gaye hai...!!! Ab aap kise datege, Karan...???!!! Kyuki bache to aapki daat sunne ke liye jage hue hi nahi hai.

Karan (While narrowing his eyes) - Aapko bada mazaak sujh raha hai, Monami...!!! Aap bhul gayi hai kya ke aap abhi girnewali thi?

Monami (While smilingly looking at the kids) - Ab chhodiye bhi na, Karan. Bache hai... Khel - khel me apne khilone vaha chhod diye hoge aur thak ke so gaye hoge.

Karan (In a serious tone) - Nahi, Monami. Aap gir sakti thi. Aapko chot lag sakti thi.

Monami (While pulling him towards the bed) - Are chhodiye na, Karan. Isse zyada chote mujhe apne missions me lagti rehti hai aur vaise bhi vo bache hai. Vo sab chhodiye aur uthaiye bacho ko.

She was just about to look behind but she twisted her leg in that hurry and again fell in his arms. They were just looking at each other without even blinking their eyes. Today seemed something different between them but still... Today wasn't their day either.
