(Saturday, day after Biology picnic)
"Today dad!? You know I can't come in today! I have a date with Victoria at the sushi restaurant down the street. I can't fill in for you today." He knew very well how rocky our relationship is going. I have to try my best to uphold this tower. But who am I kidding. The only thing I will be thinking about are those beautiful locks of brown hair. Those charming brown eyes. That sweet smile that lights up her face. That blush that drives me crazy. Basically I will not be thinking about Victoria, but Bella. I would have broken up with her long ago but the agreement I had signed had clearly stated that I could not brake up with Victoria. I sighed and shooted Victoria a text saying that I could not come in today. She did not reply, so I assumed that she was not happy with that decision. I shrugged it off and went to the car garage. My dad recently opened a car garage. He sells used cars and fixes them too. He had an order or two today and needed to run out for some reason. He did not explain much, only that I needed to cover him today. I reached the garage at 7:30 and started to work on the beated up Corolla. Dad loved mechanics. He worked as a business man at Aiolla company, but he worked here. It was more of a hobby than a job. I was working on the gas pipe when I heard metal scrape against the concrete. I rolled out of the bottom of the car and saw 5 men. I knew them very well and I knew that this would not end well. I got up and wiped my knees against my ragged blue jumpsuit. "What do you want?" I spat. I could see venom coming out of their eyes as they all caved me inside their deathly circle. "This is a warning." Andy, the guy on the left grumbled. They took out their leather belts and started to drag it across my body. I screamed in pain and fell to the floor in a thump. You know how they say that when ur on the verge of death that your entire life shows in front of you. That happened to me. I saw small snippets of random yet special moments. I saw my mom and me baking cookies for dad on Father's Day when I was very young, around 7. Of course, before she died. I saw dad carrying me on his shoulders in the carnival when I was 10. I saw my 14 year old self playing football with Matt. And I saw Bella. Walking across the park to the stump at which we study. Her hair flowing behind, her face flowing in beauty, her white dress flowing just above her knees. And a cute blush forming on her cheeks. I lay there. Admiring her beauty. Suddenly the pain, the fear, the agreement, all just vanished. There, just stood Bella. I was slapped into reality when Jason, one of the goons, slapped me on my cheek. Andy, the leader stopped him abruptly. "This is a warning." He stopped and put his belt on again. He leaned in close to my face " Never let it happen again!" He bellowed. My ear drums vibrated so hard I would have a concussion. They left me there in my own misery. I could not think of anyone else but her. I dialed her number. As I waited for her to pick up. I realized that in that wonderful flashback I had, not once did I even see Victoria's face. But I saw Bella. A girl I have barely known for a month. Why did she come up and not my girlfriend? She answered in a casual voice. "Bella?" I croaked "Jeremy!" She gasped. "Please help me. I'm in my dad's garage." "I am coming right away." She said as the line died. I tried to pick myself up from the ground. I failed, pretty bad. I fell on the floor again in a small thud and decided against getting up. I just lay there waiting for help. Thinking only and only of Bella as I slowly drifted into slumber.I awoke when I felt something wet against my forehead. I saw Bella slowly applying something. I sat there for a while just admiring her features. Her hair was halfway tied up and the rest of her hair fell across her shoulder. She had zero makeup on and yet she looked so pretty. She looked at me and smiled. "Are you okay?" I smiled and nodded. I then realized where I was. I was sitting in a bedroom that was not mine. The walls were an eggshell color and the furniture was mostly white. Occasionally a bright color would pop up, but for the most part it was a beautiful yet simple room. Again, my eyes wondered to her and I just stared, like a stalker. You know, you should really not involve yourself in these types of situations. "Are you feeling better?" She asked once again. I smiled and nodded, "yes Bella I am. Now put this away." She chuckled and nodded. She leaned over me and put the wash cloth away. I could feel my heart beat accelerate as she leaned back down. "Are you willing to tell me what's wrong?" I hesitated. I can't involve her in this. She will get hurt. No, I can't tell her. "Well, it's um, complicated. And I will tell you later don't worry. She smiled and nodded. She leaned over me and kissed me on the forehead. I could feel an igniting feeling running down my body as she pulled away. I looked at her in utter shock. And she had the most beautiful laugh. It rang in my head like a prayer. I have fallen very hard for Bella Clove.

Hey guys! How did you like the long chapter. I don't think I have written a chapter this long on ATLS. You might notice, I'm jumping around. Here and there. I just feel that there should always be a suspenseful ending. Wether or not I put a cliff hanger. Btw: I put a pic of all the characters that I wanted to include. I think you know all of the characters except Nate. Keep guessing how he will play a role on ATLS. Tell me how you liked the chapter. And what do you think Jeremy got beat up for? What is This 'warning' for?
Wait for it!
Stay brave
