"I don't know Jimmy." I said licking my ice cream,"it's not the best idea." "Are you kidding? Of course it is! I mean imagine never having to sit next to the trash can in the Cafeteria where there is more gum on the floor than in Mrs. Horan's freshman geometry class. And that's saying something." I thought about it for a moment, I mean I don't want a fiesta of Mean Girls all over again, but on the other hand I also don't want to spend the rest of my high school life stuck on the floor because I sat in moist gum. He has a point, I won't leave high school being a nobody, I am so much more. "Okay, I will do it." He looked at me with a blank stare. And then it was like a cart of cement hit him in the head. "Oh! You mean, Oh! REALLY YOU WILL?!?! I can't believe it, you will!! Yaaasssss I will be popular in high school because of my sister." He full on started dancing in front of Bruster's. It was hilarious watching him fall on his butt when he tried to do a cart wheel. This is gonna be one heck of a ride.
"Okay so what is the biggest mammal?" Jeremy looked like I was asking him to stab me in the stomach. "Ugh... No wait! I know this one. Umm... A cheetah?" I face palmed myself, again. " Nooooo... Okay it lives in the sea?" He looked at me blank. "Sponge bob square pants?" I groaned. "Jeremy! Did you study for 10 minutes every night like I had asked you to?" I asked him with annoyance stirred in my voice. He looked at me sheepishly, "maybe not 10 minutes?" I gave him 'the look'. "Did you study at all?" He looked at me with regret in his eyes. "No not really." I just stared at him. "What! Bella, look you are really nice and all but I have a life too. I am the head quarterback and I have the head cheerleader as my girlfriend. I don't have time for this. Your nice and all but I just can't. Goodbye Bella. Thanks for the help, but I won't need your help anymore" he walked away without another word. I sat there stunned at his words. My eyes grew blurt as tears flowed freely down my face. Jerk. I should have never even thought that this would work out. He and I are opposite ends of the pole. Thanks Jeremy for letting me on a magical dream, only to dumped in the trash at the end. Goodbye Jeremy.
