hi all,

unfortunately you have read the title of this fic right :( prize counter girl is discontinued...

but only on WATTPAD.

this basically means that all updates for my michael afton series will not be posted on wattpad anymore. i have other platforms where prize counter girl updates will be posted such as AO3 and TUMBLR. these will be the only platforms where this story will be continued.

i have decided to leave the remaining published chapters on here just for you guys. nothing will be deleted, but be mindful that this story is still being written on other platforms and will not be completed without an ending. i appreciate all of my readers and i understand how the fans of this story are feeling. i assure you i am still working on this story!! it's just future chapters will not be posted on here anymore for various reasons.

1) i am not active on wattpad anymore. my wattpad journey has come to an end (10 years with this platform is crazy... and i couldn't thank all of you enough for the love and support. you guys are amazing.) but imo wattpad sucks. this platform sucks and its sad to see so many of my good writers leave.

2) i've tried so hard avoiding discourse like this because it's something i can't control. but this is how i feel about it and the only thing i can do is prevent this: minors on wattpad reading this story. truthfully it makes me uncomfortable but at the same time it's hard to come about this because i did the same exact stuff when i was a minor. but as a 22 year old woman and pressing the profiles of commentors on here, seeing 13-15 year olds spamming stuff on this kind story is just... i literally dont know how else to explain this other than finding a way to stop catering smut like this on a platform where minor audiences are prevalent.

i don't want to sound like those type of nsfw writers with online platforms that bash on minors for no reason. because hey, i literally did the same shit when i was like 10-12 years old. i've been on this platform for 10 years like i was reading shit i wasn't supposed to when i was 12 LMAOO. so no, i don't have a problem with minors who have unrestricted internet access that found their way to this story. but for safety reasons, and to cater to the right kind of audience on other platforms besides wattpad, i do not feel comfortable continuing this story on wattpad.

3) this kind of story is not fit for wattpad. i know everyone admires the writing and most importantly the smut parts of prize counter girl (🙄) but i believe my story and my writing fits more on my tumblr platform. i dont know how else to say this without sounding shady so i will just stay quiet for now 🙈🙈😁😁🤫🤫🤫 (theres a difference between how wattpad smut is written vs tumblr smut... iykyk)

i thank every one of you for supporting prize counter girl. all of your comments are hilarious and i apologize for keeping you guys at the edge of your seats for the next updates. i know i suck at updating this fuckass story 😓 but i appreciate that i am not receiving pressure from readers who are begging for updates and choose to be patient. authors really appreciate that. and once again, you can find me on tumblr and ao3 and feel free to reach out. love you guys 🤍
