"Beautiful..." The CEO, Kim Minji is staring at the ocean painting, she'd always find herself doing this often yet she don't really know the particular reason for it. It just reminds her of the past...

"Chairman" she turned around upon hearing someone called, it was Jo Seoun, the general manager approaching her.

"Good morning Seoun" The manager bowed 90 degrees and greeted his boss in returned as he moved closer to stand by her side. They're both now looking at the unspoken painting.

"Chairman, why do you come here in the gallery every morning just to stare at this painting?" he inquires, Minji on the other hand remained silent as she already received this numerous repeated questions.

"Don't you think this is abit too odd putting this in one of the biggest art gallery in Korea?" the man exclaimed, a bit dissatisfied by the sight infront of him and his CEO's behavior.

"No, Seoun, art is an art this is fascinating actually it caught my attention" Seoun could do less but sigh and stare at the painting for 5 minutes before speaking again.

"But there are different forms of art that this painting cannot comprehend with" he insisted wanting to give out ideas by removing the paint as there are tons of arts he thought that is 'good replacement' from the one in front of them. In which Minji had rejected.

"Why would you display this then when you aren't going to sell it?" The blondie didn't give up and continued on, however he couldn't get an answer anymore.

"Stop" Minji lets out a brief sigh causing the man to halt as he realized he was making his CEO uncomfortable.

"I've already discussed this with the top levels so Seoun do your job as a manager" The lady tapped the man's shoulder as he faced her, lowering his gaze.

After a few minutes the grown lady walked out of her art gallery and drove to her next destination upon checking her wristwatch to find out it's already 8:36 AM.

When Minji arrived at the company she was greeted by her employees and since the CEO is not that always moody boss, she returned the greetings and went straight to her office. After a few hours of working, the lady could feel her back hurting as fxk despite her being in 40's, she still don't want to die yet. Minji got up and started stretching her body so it wouldn't hurt from sitting for so long, after the short exercises she picked up the files that is in a long white folder and opened the drawer as she was about to put it inside when the latter noticed a contact print.

There could be seen 5 girls together in the photo. She smiled thinking about the memories they once shared when they were young when suddenly her eyes halt at the cat eyed girl, Minji's smile slowly fade as her emotions begins to mix up like some food being seasoned in a pot.

'When was this taken?' She thought trying to recall her memories but nothing comes out at all, even worst she started having headache.

Suddenly a loud knocking appeared like some spoiled kids knock their doors, she let whoever outside in and the door opened, It was Yena, Minji's personal secretary. The duck looking girl didn't even greet the CEO and simply sat on the couch as if it's her own house.

"Why are you still here, chairman? It would be best if you go to bed early to strengthen your immune system" the said duck tried to lighten up the mood as she noticed the chairman has already been working for 11 hours, it's currently 9:32 PM.

Minji realizes just then that she haven't actually taken supper yet and so the two of them went out to eat somewhere. Aside from boss-employee relationship the two has already been quiet close since Yena became Minji's personal secretary, although the duck looking girl is unserious most of the time, she is still very useful and contributes fairly to the company. They decided to eat at a fast foodchain since most of the restaurants are already closed. After that they went out on a convenient store to drink.

"Chairman may I ask?" Yena, who's very drunk right now tried to keep her cool as she shove another glass of soju. Minji on the other hand nodded as confirmation of her permission.

"Despite hmm you being one of the most successful people in the world, do you have any regrets?" Minji was taken aback by the question but she couldn't serious herself as she is facing the girl who naturally have pouty lips and it's cute especially the way her face is slowly turning into a potato.

"A lot" Minji mumbled zoning out yet she couldn't hear the younger's response that made her switched up to Yena just to find out the duck is already sleeping.

"Seriously Yena"

After taking the latter safety to her house, Minji decided to go back inside her car, drive home and went straight to bed due to the tiredness of her body.

The next morning, Minji awoke from this familiar luscious smell, she began walking towards the ketchin and discovered her older sister cooking.

"How did you get into Yujin?" The older one turn around giving her that puppy smile lol Yujin is now 46 years old yet she still does act cute.

"Good morning, Minji" she greeted, while the younger just hum and sit on a chair.

"Not surprising you haven't change your password in 10 years" She didn't respond, no reason to keep changing it though she just like that passcode so why not stick with it.

"Haven't you decided to move on yet?" Yujin calmly asked who's focus is into her cooking, Minji sighed again didn't respond.

This time Yujin change her gaze after putting the food in the microwave, she's now having eye contact with her sister with no emotions in between her eyes and it ain't scaring Minji any longer. She's used to her advicing for her future but the younger lack the courage to follow the eldest's words.

"Minji, this is only for your future I want you to decide what you really want to be, stop turning yourself into her. Not trying to manipulate you huh but If only you listened to mom then probably things would be different" The latter froze, another moment of her regretting her life decisions. What if she actually let herself follow Yujin's advices years ago? Will she be happy now as what she desires? maybe she will learn to forget about her, that girl who ruined her life that fcking girl who ruined Minji.

'No actually it was me, it was me who ruined her life. My sister is right.... But this....' Minji thought depth, her mind feels like spinning around as her stomach crumbles very uncomfortably.

"No, Yujin you don't understand I didn't accept him and disobeyed mom's words was because I never felt anything for him. I don't want to be locked up in someone else's life"

"Why Minji?" the taller sighed softly as she took the food from the microwave and placed it on the table, but what does she mean why?

"Do you think your life isn't deeply entwined with that girl's?" That struck her right in the chest, like an arrow... Minji lowered her gaze, not responding to her words.

"Here, eat this" Yujin handed her sister the food, which had been Minji's favorite childhood food. 'what a nostalgia' the chairman thought.

"I know you stopped eating this many years ago. Minji, and you've changed a lot" suddenly a form of water as slow as a sloth began coming out from her eyes, dripping barely.

'It hurts, it fucking hurt...' she thought, crying silently.

"I... promised her" Her voice were shaking, she don't even know how did she turned out to be like this.

Yujin hugged the sober tightly

"Minji, that girl she died 25 years ago"
