Silken Lies: Facing the Malevolent Force

1st Initiation

     In the heart of the capital city, patterned banners dance in the appalling evening breeze, announcing the grand festival, and honoring the dictating tyrant Queen Fraudrin. Hordes of citizens crammed the streets as their cheers echoed against the towering structures. Performers and merchants do not dare vie in the bustling town square as the insufferable horns announce the arrival of her excellency.

    Queen Fraudrin's gold carriage arrives in the town square, glimmering in the moonlight. The servants, with no glimpse of hope in their eyes, march in unison as the golden carriage stops near the fountain. Her excellency's weight prevented her from gracefully exiting the golden carriage, but no one dared to titter. As she stumbled and slipped over her majestic robes, the appearance of her grandness was quickly given away to the spectacle of silliness.

     The formidable maiden smacks her red-tinted lips together, and gives her festival declaration, "My dear subjects, there have passed many moons... And many days since I have seen your smiling faces." She ceases, "I remember when I was beaten by my father and mother. I was once a cucumber who dreamed of being a pineapple, but ended up in the pickle jar of expectations, swimming in the brine of my inadequacies!" 

     Lengthy seconds, minutes, maybe even hours passed, yet no one had uttered. The enlightened city had become gloomy, full of puzzled civilians, "What da fwip dude.." spoke an unknown voice in the crowd. Her excellency trembles in outrage, her fists clench and her face turns habanero red, not even the retinol can keep the wrinkles from forming on her temples.

     "W-WHO DARES QUESTION MY WISE, WISE SAYINGS?!" Queen Fraudrin steps up on the fountain's walls as she roars," SUMMON THE ROYAL SQUADRONS! I want the miscreant... THE IMBECILE WHO HAD DARED SPEAK OUT OF LINE PERISHED FROM THE EARTH! DEAD, ALIVE, GONE, BRING THEM TO ME! "
