Marinette was in her room with her friend Alya, talking about her new boyfriend.

"You just met 3 weeks ago! You guys are already dating?!" Yelled Alya.

Marinette grinned. "What can I say?" She flipped her hair. "My seducing powers worked well."

She couldn't stop bragging about all the things her new rich boyfriend was buying her.

"Does he really have no clue?" Asked Alya.

Marinette laughed. "Of course not, he's blinded by love."

"Aw poor guy."

Marinette and Alya exchanged mocking looks and started laughing.

"Damn, we really are evil."

"You are, not me. I didn't seduce any billionaire." Replied Alya.

"Can you blame me?" She showed all her bills. "How else can I afford all the things I need? By getting another job? That won't be enough! Look at the amount of bills that I have. And I'm on the verge of getting evicted from my apartment. He had it easy. His parents left him everything."

Alya gave Marinette a pitying look. "And don't forget that he also lost them not long ago."

"Yeah, I'm not heartless. I do feel sorry for him, but now he has me!"
Marinette smiled.

Alya facepalmed and sighed. "That's even worse."

"Worse? You mean better! The chances of him leaving me is even lower now!"

"And imagine he finds out about your plans."

"How would he find out? I act well and give him love and affection."

"Uh huh, may I know how?"

Marinette frowned. "By spending time with him, of course!"

"You mean when you go shopping together for YOUR things or just hanging out?"
"Both!"

"Alright"

The conversation was ended by a ring from Adrien. Marinette went to prepare for her next date with Adrien.

When Adrien arrived, he greeted Marinette with flowers. They were heading to the door, when Adrien noticed the eviction notice on Marinette's kitchen counter.

He looked at Marinette. "What is that?"

"Oh, no. That is embarrassing.."

"No, no! It's not."

"Well, I've just been having trouble keeping up with- you know everything?
My job in the salon sucks. It's not helping. This apartment is lame anyway. I never liked it, so it's fine."

"But, where will you go?"

"I have no idea-" She was interrupted.

"Your parents?"

"They don't live here."

"Right-"

"Maybe I'll stay at my friend Alya's house for a while."

"I don't wanna stay here. My neighbors aren't nice as well."
