we think we own this world
the land
the trees
the animals
and the sea
all of which change around us
despite our beliefs
despite our wishes and orders
but in the patient reality that waits
to be seen by us
the skeptical minded beings
we are not all mighty
we are simply a peanut gallery
passing through our time
