a/n: ik long timeskip but i hv no more braincells for this hel
jeonghan was walking around the exquisite banquet, greeting their friends, esteemed guests his mother invited, family members of both him and jisoo, as well as talking to their own bridal and groom parties. their wedding was bound to be huge, flowers all over the place, paparazzi already setting up their cameras at the back (as per jeonghan's strict request), and the amount of people wearing the finest clothes - to jeonghan, pretty sickening. jisoo and him had only invited roughly 150 people and his mother just had to look through their list, before adding another 50 more people that jisoo or jeonghan never knew.
"200 over people? excluding paparazzi? serious?" jeonghan's best man, seungcheol, asked.
"my mom. she's the one that invited the extra 50 and paparazzi since i'm doing my 'other big announcement' later. it's my wedding yet it doesn't feel like mine," jeonghan shuddered.
"you'll be fine, your wedding dinner and afterparty is just us and some other friends, right?" vernon - the officiant - asked.
"yeah," jeonghan nodded.
"is being here calming your nerves?" mingyu laughed. "doesn't look like it is. go up to the groom suite."
"gyu, the wedding is starting at... 2. it's 145. i'm not going to go there then come back here the minute i step foot there, it's pointless," jeonghan shrugged.
"can the bridal party please go to the bridal suite now? thank you," an announcement rang, as the bridal party rushed to the room jisoo was in.
jisoo was sitting on a chair in the powder room, his hair getting done by their professional stylist, as well as final touches on his makeup. jisoo didn't want to go out there looking tired, exhausted maybe from all the planning. fucking paparazzi and first impressions.
"you doing alright?" jihoon asked, handing jisoo a water bottle with a straw poked through the cap.
"i'm doing fine. how's downstairs, and jeonghan?" jisoo asked, as the makeup artist started giving him a little bit of lipstick.
"jeonghan's fucking nervous. it's super crowded downstairs, paparazzi, a bunch of people from other countries and your close friends plus family. but, your man's greeting almost everyone downstairs," minghao chuckled.
"oh, and outside is even worse. like, the entire place is just paparazzi," seungkwan added.
"is it that bad?" jisoo asked, fiddling with his seventeen ring.
"yeah. it is. jeonghan's getting crowned king after his long hiatus of him being a prince," jihoon shrugged.
"but jeonghan's mom inviting so many people... that's a little bit of a stretch," wonwoo said. "did jeonghan's mom max out the guestlist?"
"my mom couldn't invite any of her friends, i held about 5 slots for them but jeonghan's mother decided to look over our guestlist and invite 5 more people than the number of people we asked her to invite," jisoo shrugged.
"anyway, why did you call us here?" minghao asked.
"i needed to talk to you guys. it's way too stressful waiting for time to tick," jisoo admitted. "i can't wait to be married to hannie but jeonghan's mom is making this entire event about jeonghan's crowning and putting the wedding last. we didn't have time to plan a first dance until the remaining month leading up to today becuase jeonghan's mother was pestering jeonghan to choose a crown, to choose his flowers for the venue, to do this, to do that for his coronation."
