beauty and her beast

Lizzie woke up to Lily opening the curtains, it was Monday which meant class.

"Rise and shine beautiful." Lily said walking to Lizzie's bed pulling the covers off of her.

Lizzie groaned raising up, she yawned and stretched before getting up and walking into their bathroom to shower.

When she was done she stepped out of the tub grabbing her towel drying her body then wrapping her hair in her towel to dry it a little. Going to the mirror she brushed her teeth and finished drying her hair.

Lizzie then grabbed her clothes putting them on. She wore her school uniform obviously but she put on her combat books instead of uniform shoes because they were extremely uncomfortable. Even Lily didn't wear her uniform shoes.

After she was dressed she went back into her room to fix her makeup.

"Hey do we have time for you to braid my hair?" She said looking at Lily.

"Um yeah we actually have plenty of time." She answered looking at the clock. "We have like another hour before classes start."

Lily braided her hair then they grabbed their bags going then heading down to the great hall for breakfast.

After they had eaten their breakfast the boys walked in walking towards them. They still had a little while before class so they stayed there. Remus took the empty seat next to Lizzie, smiling at her as he sat down. James and Sirius sat next to each other on the other side of the table.

"Good morning boys." Lizzie said to them. Sirius shushed her reaching for the coffee that was sat out on the table.

"Not before coffee."

"Don't take him seriously. He's just Mr grumpy pants in the mornings." James said looking to his best friend.

"No worries" Lizzie smiled.

"Hey Liz we need to get to potions before sluggy gives us a detention for being late."

"Yep. You boys coming?" Lizzie asked

"Not us, me and Sirius have transfiguration first."

"I'm coming, I have potions." Remus said looking up at her, he stood walking with the girls downstairs to the potions classroom.

When they got to class Lily sat next to Alice Fortescue. Another gryffindor girl in their year. There was and empty desk at the back of the classroom, Remus and Lizzie walked back their and sat down next to each other.

Professor Slughorn walked into the classroom moving to his desk. "Today we will be learning about the Amortentia potion. Can anyone tell me what this potion does?"

Lily raised her hand along with two others.

"Miss Evans?" Slughorn pointed at her

"Amortentia is the strongest love potion in the world. It smells different to everyone according to what attracts them."

"Very good. 10 points to Gryffindor."

Slughorn pointed to the table full of ingredients. "You will find the instructions on page 217 of your books. You all know what to do, if you have any questions raise your hand and ask it." Slughorn said "you will be working with your table partners on this"

"I'll get our cauldron, you get the ingredients?" Remus asked looking to Lizzie

The girl nodded the both of them standing up to get what they needed.
