*Hanna's P.O.V*
I curiously looked down the stairs.
"No, fuck you" I heard someone say,
Right away, I knew it was Nash.
I reached in my pocket, grabbing the knife and slowly started walking down the steps.
I heard someone groan
"Too bad Hanna is already dead." I heard Joe say
"No she isn't and you better tell me where she is or else." Nash said
"Or else what?" Joe laughed "you're a fucking pussy. What're you going to do?"
"I just knocked your ass on the ground." Nash laughed
I walked down a step, very cautiously.
I felt my heart beating out of my chest.
I stepped down another step.
Then another.
Then another.
Then another.
I took a break for a second to make sure I was still breathing okay.
This was between life and death.
I caught my breathe and stepped down another step.
Nash peeked his head at the stair case.
He grew a small smile when he saw me, trying not to make it obvious of course.
"Go in there" he mouthed, pointing to the door of the attic.
"No" I mouthed, shaking my head
He nodded and pointed again.
"I need to help you." I mouthed
He shook his head again and pointed to the door
The last thing he mouthed to me was "call 911"
I nodded, I quietly opened the door, stepping inside.
*nashs P.O.V*
Joe was still on the floor, holding his genitals in place.
I saw the gun on the floor.
I quickly walked over to it, grabbing it before he could.
I then stepped over him, pointing the gun at him.
He laughed.
"Do it." He said "I fucking dare you"
I said nothing still pointing the gun at him.
"You won Nash. Is that what you wanted to head?" Joe said
I was still lost for words, I had no clue what I should say.
"I'm dead anyways, I always have been. Do yourself a favor and kill me." Joe said
He was acting strange.
A little too strange.
"Do it."
He gave me a creepy smirk.
He reached for his back pocket.
Pulled out another gun.
And shot me.
Right in the shoulder.
I instantly shot back, hitting his stomach.
"Fuck!" He groaned in pain
I put pressure on my wound with my hand on my shoulder.
I didn't care about myself.
I needed to save Hanna.
I quickly ran upstairs, while she was downstairs.
"Nash what-" Hanna had tears in her eyes.
"I'm fine, baby. I am going to be okay." Go run down the street and save yourself-"
"No!"
"Yes Hanna please, you'll be safe-"
"I need to stay with you!" Hanna cried
"Don't worry about me. By the looks of Joe I think we will be good-"
"I don't think so." Someone said behind me.
I slowly turned around, seeing Tanner with a gun in his hand pointed at me.
I quickly took the gun I had out and pointed it at him.
"Shoot me. What the fuck do I care? But, if you do, I'll blow Hanna's fucking head off." He aimed the gun at her.
She gasped
My heart was racing. 1000 beats per minute.
I had to do something and it had to be done quickly.
I aimed the gun at the hand he was holding the gun in. I have one shot. This is it.
What if I miss his hand?
I thought.
No I can't think like that.
"What's it gonna be?" Tanner smiled
I aimed my gun at him, and pulled the trigger.
"Go damn it!" He dropped the gun out of his hands and I shot his knee cap.
"You win" he looked at me and Hanna in pain.
"Come on." I grabbed Hanna's hand and ran out the door, just as the police pulled in."
"You did it." Hanna whispered
"We did it." I whispered back.
She smiled
"You need to get that bandaged up." Hanna looked at me sadly and I nodded.
The cops quickly ran into the house.
Joe was pronounced dead.
The shot I took on him in the stomach made him bleed out, killing him.
I was not charged with anything, because this was all in self defense.
Tanner would make a full recovery.
Right after he recovers, he will be sentenced to life in prison.
His charges were, kidnapping, with an armed weapon, attempt at murder and harassment.
Everything after that was perfect.
