"Stop talking about people," Kamiya laughed as she sat across from her cousin.
Semaj had invited her out for lunch after her graduation.

"You going to the party Montell throwing for everyone?"
Kamiya nodded, "Hell yea. Told granny I'm not coming home this weekend, only to shower."

"What's the plan now? What you doing?" Semaj asked.
Kamiya shrugged, "I started class at the beauty school for my new certification.. but Semaj, I want to be out of Detroit low key."
"Where you wanna go?"
"I don't wanna be stationary in one place. I wanna travel around,"
Semaj nodded, "This yo world now.. do what you want for real."
"But I wanna find a way to keep money flowing," She told him.
"Make yo businesses work for you. Be a traveling facial lady or sum,"
What Semaj suggested made sense as Kamiya had over 300,000 followers on her Instagram and TikTok business accounts. A lot of her followers asked if she'd do travel dates to their cities.
"Invest the money you making from the skincare line into something,"
"That makes sense.." Kamiya nodded as she truly thought about it.
"For yo graduation gift, I got 50 racks to go into whatever you decide to do," he told her.
Kamiya's eyes widened as she looked at his serious face.
"Semaj really?"

Her eyes began to water as she walked to his side of the table for a hug.

The two finished up lunch before her aunt and grandmother began to call as her party would begin soon.
