Y/N POV:

It's been 2 days since the incident, Jake nor Johnnie has talked to me and It's been hard lately. I booked a flight to Kansas because maybe if I leave they will sort things out.

I also just need some time away but I hate being alone so I want to ask Tara to come with me.

I grabbed my phone and texted her:

Y/N: Hey Tara

T: Hey girl how are you doin?

Y/N: Good I guess, I have a question for you though.

T: What's up?

Y/N: I'm leaving to go to Kansas tomorrow morning, do you want to go with me?

T: Y/n, of course I'm always up to have fun! What time tomorrow? I'll pick you up.

Y/N: Probably about 6am, I booked a flight for 7am. I already bought you a ticket cause I knew you would go.

T: You know me too well girl, alright I'll pick you up tomorrow morning. Love ya girl!!

Y/N: Thanks Tara, love you!

I set my phone down and grabbed my suitcase from out under my bed. I threw a ton of clothes and makeup into and zipped it up. Good enough... It was 5pm so I ordered Taco Bell for everyone.

-Time Skip-

Once the food got here I decided to go to Jake's room, it's kind of risky but I really need to talk to him.

I knocked on the door and opened it. He was sitting on his bed scrolling on his phone. He put his phone down and looked at me.

"What do you want y/n" He asked.

"I just wanted to talk Jake, I'm sorry alright?" I explained and he got up walked towards me.

"Y/n this is the second time you are dating one my friends, first Colby then he broke up with you and I had to stop being friends with him. Now Johnnie?!?? Johnnie is my best fucking friend y/n" He yelled at me.

"Jake I'm sorry, I really am I never meant to fall for Johnnie or Colby. I just-"

"No y/n, you should have never came...You should just go back home." He said moving me out of his room. He slammed the door in my face.

Fine if that's what Jake wants I'll leave... I grabbed my phone and moved my time to an hour from now, I called Tara and told her about the change of plans. After about five minutes I heard Tara's car outside. I was going to say goodbye to Johnnie but he was asleep and I doubt he would even care at this point. I mean I don't really understand why he's mad...It could be because of Corey and Sam but I thought we got past that...

I went downstairs with my bags and loaded them into Tara's car. I ran back inside and grabbed a monster before we left because I'm a caffeine addict. Probably get it from Jake...

-Time skip- (again bc I'm lazy asf)

We landed and ordered a ride to a hotel. I would stay with my parents, but I didn't want to bother them.

"Y/n?? You good?" Tara asked hanging some of her clothes up in the closet.

"Yeah, just thinking you know?" I replied sitting on the bed. She stopped grabbing clothes and went and sat down next to me.

"About Johnnie?" She said looking at me.

"Yes, I miss him I don't know I'm gonna do." I explained upset.

"Well you know what you could try doing again?" She said with a smile on her face.

"What?" I asked curious.

"Writing a song for him, you used to write all the time. I'm sure he would love it," Tara started

"you make him happy y/n...I haven't seen him this happy in, well forever." She squeezed my hand.

Really? I didn't know Johnnie felt that way about me, her mind went to a couple months back...

*Flashback*

He mouthed "I love you" and I smiled at him.

*End of Flashback*

I finally realized...he said he loved me?!?! I couldn't make out what he said that day but it just hit me.

Johnnie said he loves me and I didn't say it back. God I'm horrible...of course he would be upset, and then seeing me with Sam and Corey at the party. I fell back on the bed thinking of Johnnie before dozing off.

Johnnie's POV:

*At the party*

As I sat on the couch, I thought of the decision I was about to make. What if she doesn't even like me? She didn't say it back... I looked around for Y/n until I spotted her dancing with Corey.

She looked happy, happier than she's ever been with me. I turned away not letting a tear slip out.

She took me to my room and sat me down on the bed.

"What's wrong Johnnie?? What happened?" She asked me worried.

I couldn't face her, y/n is perfect...how could she like someone like me?

She turned my face to hers. A tear fell onto my cheek... Damn it.

"I'm not good enough for you y/n, It's clear that Corey would be a better fit for you" I said looking at her.

"Johnnie listen to me, Corey and Sam are brothers to me...You are perfect" She said reassuring me.

Her words helped but it would've helped more if she loved me. She pulled me into a kiss and I kissed back.

Suddenly, Jake burst into the room.

"Y/n!?!" He yelled at her and I quickly pulled away. He ran up to me,

"What the fuck Johnnie?! That's my fucking sister!" He yelled at me pulling me by the collar of my shirt. I pushed me away...

He pushed him back and I punched him in the face.

Jake punched me back and I saw y/n trying to pull him back. He shook her off, me and Jake kept going at it until Y/n ran out of the room.

I saw y/n and the triplets, tara behind them ran into the room and both me and Jake were bloody in the face... the triplets managed to pull me off of him and they took Jake into his room away from me.

I sat on the bed with Tara and Y/n staring at me.

"Johnnie-" Y/n started but I cut her off.

"Just get out, I don't wanna talk" I said shooing both of them away and slammed my door behind them. I was mad at Y/n, why would she bother trying to help me when she doesn't even love me...
