The livingroom was tense as Oaklynn heatedly glared at her so called father and his wife. They were standing before her while she held her sleeping three year old in her arms protectively. "I'm not giving her up!" The 18 year old spat out lowly at the two, watching as her father's face contorts into anger at her words.
His wife just sighs as she shakes her head. "We're doing what's best for you," she says and Oaklynn lets out a bitter laugh as she shakes her head, her arms tightening slightly around her daughter slightly just incase either tried to yank her out her arms. Even if she held her daughter in her arms, she also had two duffle bags hanging off her shoulders. They were heavy of course but she didn't care if they were, she could handle it for a bit- until she was out of this house.
Oaklynn had never gotten along with her father as he always wanted a son, but was cursed with a daughter. Their relationship only got worse when she had become pregnant at a young age.
He was furious of course, wanting her to get rid of the baby when he had found out, fipping table and yelling his head off.
Her father is a well known businessman who made alot of money and he refused for her to ruin his image. Of course she kept her baby with the help of her mom who was her rock until she had died last year due to breast cancer. It was a hard time for the teen who was heartbroken over her mother's death, it was hard to explain to her daughter where nana had went and that she wasn't coming back to them. Yet she'd always be in their hearts and will never be forgotten. Her mother left everything to her which was alot of money that her father thankfully didn't know about.
He never asked questions about where she had gotten money to buy things for her daughter as she worked. He hadn't helped her at all and she was okay with that, she didn't need him, just like she didn't need the father of her daughter who had signed his rights away even before she was born. He and her so called father were alot alike, she didn't regret ever being with her ex boyfriend though as because of it, she was blessed with a little girl who had before her life literally the second she found out she was pregnant.
And only two months after her mother had died, her father got a girlfriend and married her within a month. To say that she hated him more than ever would be an understatement. It was as he never loved her mother with how fast he had moved on. Forcing her to he kind to that woman, forcing her to accept that damn woman- both of which she never did. It was always tense but yesterday was the day that Oaklynn finnally had enough.
The worst part is yesterday was her 18th birthday. It was suppose to he her day, a day she could enjoy with her daughter. But no, it had to be ruined because her father's wife had referred to herself as her mother. She had the sheer audacity to called herself Oaklynn's mother and had the balls to say that to Willow who is Oaklynn's daughter. And not only that, the woman wanted Willow to call her 'nana'.
Okalynn nearly fought the woman but decided to just tell her daughter that she was a liar and wasn't anything to them. It made the woman instantly go crying to her husband. And though Oaklynn knew he was a horrible father, she was heartbroken when the man was angry with her, actually angry at her because she didn't want to call his wife mom.
That was why Oaklynn was packed and moving out now, she was finally 18 and can go on her own without any trouble. Plus, her father didn't want her, so why is he so pissed off that she wanted to go? He said that all she had to do was give up her daughter, accept his wife and he would 'try' to love her.
