Chapter 10: Sick

MALACHI'S POV:

I was sitting in class, waiting for Y/n to walk in but she didn't. She should've been here a long time ago. The teacher was late but eventually came in, excusing herself for being late.

She started checking if everyone was present. When she called Y/n's name I looked over at Ariana and she just shrugged at me. 'Where is she?' I tought. 'If she was sick she would've let me know right?'

At breaks, I kept texting her but no reslie so I callled her, desperatly waiting for her to answer but she didn't. 'The heck?'

"Hey you okay man?" I hear a familliar voice ask me. "Oh, hey Stone. I was just calling Y/n but she isn't picking up." I tell him. "Don't worry loverboy, I'm sure she's fine." He reasures me.

For some reason, that didn't help, I wasn't just pissed she didn't let me know anything which could blow our cover, I felt...worried? No. That couldn't be it right? I hate her. "Hey guys." I hear a female voice say. "Oh h-hey Allegra." I say with a wide smile.

She walked over to me and Stone took that as a sign for him to leave. "I heard you and Y/n are just situationly together so...nothing serious right?" She asks me. "She told you that?" I ask her.

She nods. "She also said some nice things about you, that's cool." She says with a smile 'Why am I feeling like this? I should be happy right? She thinks we aren't officaly together so if she wanted to she could make a move. Then why do I feel like this and why can't I get Y/n out of my mind?'

"Uh yeah, yeah, we're just...trying this out you know." I tell her. "So if you were to be in love with some other girl, you could just date her and that girl wouldn't have beef with Y/n?" she asks.

'Wait wait wait. Hold on a sec. Does she like me??' "Yeah, sounds about right." I say while shrugging. "Okay, cool. I gotta go now but...I'll see you later." She says with a smile. "Yeah...Later." I say, smiling back at her.

'What just happend?'

Okay, this needs to stop. I'm being serious, the whole day duri.g school, I've been thinking and worrying about Y/n, now school is over and I find myself buying things for her and walking into the direction of her house??

'What is wrong with me?!?'

When I got there, I knocked on the door, multiple times but no one answered, I then saw that there wasn't a car parced so her parents couldn't be home. But then again. I don't think Y/n would skip school.

Yeah, she's been in detention a million times, but she also has one of the best reputations at school which is weird but okay.

The point is, she couldn't have skipped school. So I looked around and then noticed it was really, really easy to just climb trought the window of her room. '

Malachi, no! Don't you dare!' I tought to myself but my body wouldn't listen. I sigh. "God I'm going way to far for this girl..."

As I climb trough her window I can see she's asleep, well she was until I dropped something due entering her room. She gasp and shot awake. "Barton?" she asked in a weak tone.
