Logan's pov: "Hello? Any one there?" I quietly asked. We had agreed over a group text to meet at the abandoned house. Rose would hopefully be here. I heard footsteps. Please tell me its them. I quickly looked at my phone. Carter appered in the dorrway. "Hurry up! Get in here!" I ran in Carter, Rose and Brendan were hiding. They crawled out fom hiding spots.
"Here's your greatest friend in the world, who brought pizza" Rose said. "And I brought the soda" Brendan grabbed a box of pepsi. Carter held up four lanterns, "We better find a place noone will find us in" Brendan ran upstairs, "Come on we need to be able to escape. Always be prepared" ROse held the pizza box confidently. "Poor guy, doesn't know what he's been dragged into", her voice echoed in my head. I followed Carter up the stairs. We found a room upstairs that had a curtain over its window.
As we sat in a circle, Brendan's soda seemed to have levitated for a second. "Wait a minute you saw that. Right?!" Carter whispered. I nodded.
"Welcome to your death" ROse said. "You are crazy! I knew it!" I said. "What she means to say is that you've been chosen for a task that might be very challenging." Brendan didn't seem like himself.
