"Yeonnie! How long will you take?! Your cab will be here in 20 minutes!" my mom yelled from downstairs.
"Coming!" I yelled back, tossing random items into my airport bag, barely keeping my balance as I rushed around. The whole scene felt like one giant blur, and all I could think about was how I had barely managed to get any sleep last night.3rd PERSON POV:
As she scrambled to finish packing, Han Juyeon barely had enough time to eat breakfast, let alone sort out all the loose ends. Her mind was racing—not just with the excitement of leaving for Korea, but also with the nagging feeling that she might've forgotten something important."Finally!" her mom said, appearing at the doorway. "I packed some strawberries for you to eat at the airport, and here's some money. Make sure to use it wisely, alright? Buy snacks if you need to, but don't spend too much. And remember, when you land in Korea, take a cab straight to your apartment. The scholarship paid for it, so no dorms for you—JYP and your dad and I thought it would be better for you to have your own space."
"Mom, I know, I know! I'll be fine!" Juyeon quickly interrupted, her voice a mix of excitement and frustration.
Her mom didn't stop, though. "I wasn't finished yet," she said with a frown. "Make sure you don't talk to any strangers unless they're your friends, and don't eat too many snacks, or you'll get sick. And don't forget, your apartment's close to the agency, so—"
"I know, Mom!" Juyeon groaned. "I've got it, I promise."
Her mom's expression softened as she handed over the container of strawberries. "I know you're excited, but just be careful, okay? I'll miss you so much."
"I'll miss you too, Mom," Juyeon said, pulling her into a quick hug.
1st PERSON POV:
Finally, the cab pulled up outside. I hugged my parents tightly, feeling a mix of nervousness and excitement."Goodbye, Mom! Goodbye, Dad! I love you!" I said, pulling away.
"Stay safe, darling," my dad said, his voice full of love.
"Yeonnie, please take care of yourself," my mom sniffled, wiping a tear from her eye.
I quickly hopped into the taxi, my mind racing with thoughts of the new life waiting for me in Korea. I was 13, a trainee at JYP Entertainment, and I couldn't believe it. This was my dream, and it was finally happening.
The taxi ride felt surreal, and I could barely sit still. I thought about the apartment waiting for me—a small but cozy place, thanks to the scholarship. I was nervous about living on my own, but at least I'd have space to practice and focus.
The cab finally stopped in front of the building, and I couldn't help but feel a wave of excitement wash over me. This was it—the start of my journey. I couldn't wait to see what would come next.
"Ma'am? We've arrived," the driver said, snapping me out of my thoughts.
I nodded, my heart pounding. I was ready for this.
