Maurya Enterprises

Abhimaan was as usual in his cabin. He was sitting on his chair, leaning his head against it, lost in thought. Suddenly, someone knocked on the door. Abhimaan said, "Come in."

Jharna entered the room. Abhimaan looked at her in surprise. He never expected Jharna to come here because even Ivaan had never visited the office of Maurya Enterprises.

Abhimaan stood up from his chair and asked in surprise, "You! What are you doing here?"

Jharna replied affectionately, "I came to pick you up."

Abhimaan, with a stern expression, asked, "Does your husband know that you're here?"

Jharna was thinking about how to respond to this question, but before she could answer, Abhimaan continued sarcastically, "He probably doesn't. If he knew, he wouldn't let you come here. Maybe you don't know that your husband has never come to this office himself, not even on his mother's insistence. And you came here without telling him."

Jharna said, "I don't know about the problems between you and Ivaan. As for coming here, I didn't have time to inform him. The function was about to start, and if I had talked to him, I would have been late. That's why I came here without informing him."

Abhimaan retorted, "And do you think I'll come just because you call me?"

Jharna innocently said, "You'll have to come. Now it's up to you whether you come by your choice or mine."

Abhimaan, with narrowed eyes, asked, "Are you threatening me?"

Jharna replied, "No, I'm requesting you. Please, Papa!"

Hearing the word 'Papa' from Jharna's mouth, Abhimaan's eyes softened, but he didn't show his emotions to her. He said angrily, "You'll go back from here yourself, or should I call security?"

As soon as Abhimaan said this, Jharna left the room. As she left, Abhimaan sat on his chair. The word "Papa" was echoing in his ears, it made him little bit emotional, Because Abhimaan had heard that words from his children's mouths long ago, but now, because of his own mistakes, this word had become a thing of the past for him. Abhimaan closed his eyes and rested his head on the back of the chair.

When he opened his eyes, he show everything dark around him. Confused, he turned on the flashlight on his phone and called his secretary and asked how the lights went out.

The secretary answered the call and replied fearfully, "Sir, the lights can't come back."

Abhimaan, now angry, asked, "What! Why can't they?"

The secretary stammered, "Sir, you should come here and see by yourself."

Abhimaan, annoyed, said, "Troubles never end." He went towards the generator room. Inside, he saw many people gathered. Abhimaan scolded them, "What's going on here! Can't we have proper arrangements for lights in the office?"

The secretary came up to Abhimaan and fearfully said, "Sir, go inside and see."

Abhimaan went Inside, turned on his phone's flashlight and saw Jharna sitting there, holding a fuse in her hand. Surprised, he said, "You! You haven't left yet? And what drama are you playing now? Are you both husband and wife not letting me live peacefully?"

Jharna stood up with pride and said, "Look, Sasur ji, the mistake is yours. I had told you earlier to come with me, but you weren't listening, so I had to use my own way."

Abhimaan was astonished to hear Jharna's response. Jharna, looking at the people outside, said, "Dekhiye sasur ji apki wajah se saari company ka kaam ruka hua h... Agar aap mere saath chlenge to lights aa jayegi aur ye sab log apna kaam kr payenge... Aur zara sochiye, ye sab log kya soch rhe honge... Abhimaan Maurya ki bahu is generator room mein kya kr rhi h... Sochiye sochiye kya izzat reh jayegi apki..."
(See, Sasur ji, because of you, the entire company's work is stalled. If you come with me, the lights will come back on, and these people will be able to do their work. And just think, what are these people thinking, why Abhimaan Maurya's daughter-in-law is do all this in the generator room? Will your respect remain?)
