18. Possessive Ivaan

Jharna and Ivaan came down to the hall holding each other's hands. Everyone except Abhimaan was already there. Shikha went to Jharna and said, "How are you feeling now, beta?"

Jharna smiled and replied, "I'm fine, Maa."

Vihaan and Adhik were sitting together. Adhik, while drinking his protein shake, signaled Vihaan to look to one side. Vihaan looked in that direction and smiled. Deepa, noticing them, asked, "What's going on between you two?"

Adhik laughed and said, "Nothing, bua ji. We are just observing someone's impatience."

Deepa, confused, asked, "What do you mean?" Everyone else was also confused by Adhik's words.

Adhik said, "I mean, Ivaan bhai, let go of bhabhi's hand. She's not going anywhere. She will stay right here with you."

Hearing Adhik's words, everyone looked at Jharna and Ivaan. They were holding each other's hands. Ivaan also noticed that he hadn't let go of Jharna's hand yet. Realizing this, he quickly released her hand, and everyone present laughed.

Changing the topic, Ivaan asked, "Where is Miransh?"

Deepa replied, "He left for school long ago."

Ivaan said, "Great, I have some work too. I have to go."

Just then, Jharna said, "Yes, I have to go to the bakery today as well."

Ivaan said, "Are you sure? I mean, are you okay? Your leg still hurts. How will you go in this condition? You should rest."

Adhik and Vihaan said together, "You should rest...!!!!"

Shikha and Deepa laughed at this. Then Jharna said, "No, I'm fine and there is work at the bakery today. Malini aunty has been handling everything alone for a long time. I have to go."

Before Ivaan could say anything, Vihaan said, "Okay, then I'll drop you. Actually, I was also going to my art gallery. I'll drop you on the way."

Hearing Vihaan's words, Ivaan glared at him. Jharna said to Vihaan, "Oh no. You're unnecessarily troubling yourself. I can go on my own."

Ivaan was about to say something, but Vihaan interrupted, "Oh, it's no trouble at all. You are part of our family now. How can helping family be troublesome? Come on, I'll take you." Saying this, Vihaan began to help Jharna walk.

Adhik muttered to himself, "This Vihaan bhai of mine is going to get into trouble by trying to help." Saying this, Adhik laughed.

Vihaan brought Jharna to his car. Just then he noticed that his car tire was punctured. This surprised Vihaan a lot. He said in confusion, "How did this happen? Everything was fine when I loaded the car, and now it's punctured!"

Just then, Ivaan arrived and said, "This is what happens when you try to do something that's not your job."

Vihaan and Jharna looked at Ivaan. Vihaan, still confused, asked, "What do you mean?"

Ivaan came near Jharna, picked her up in his arms again, and said, "So Jharna's husband is alive. I'll drop her off wherever she needs to go. You don't need to worry."

Jharna looked at Ivaan in surprise. Vihaan said, "I was just helping, bhai. And you urgently needed to go somewhere, and Jharna is like a sister to me."

Ivaan said, "No. Jharna is not your sister, she's your sister-in-law. So call her sister-in-law."

Vihaan said, "But she is younger than me."

Ivaan replied, "But I am older than you, and she is my wife. So call her sister-in-law." With that, Ivaan glared at Vihaan, took Jharna to his car, seated her, and drove away.
