Chapter 31

Elliana's POV

It's been a day since the boys left and I have been in shambles since. No word. No call. No text. Just dead silence on their end, Ronnie has been helpful these 24 hours though. He took me around the strip of Las Vegas and did a little shopping here and there and ate at a beautiful restaurant even though I'm really not that hungry, I didn't want to be rude so I just got something small.

" hey kitten, you gonna get outta bed today or am I gonna have to force you out of it." He said plopping down on the bed next to me as my face and body is tucked away under the white duvet

" you could always force me out." I say to him playfully trying to cheer myself up

He smirks and rips the duvet from my body and tugs my ankles towards the end of the bed. He picks me up and puts me over his shoulder as if I weigh nothing, and slaps my ass roughly a few times causing me to squeal. He takes me out to the balcony and sets me down on the sofa, where lunch is nicely laid out for us.

" oh Ronnie baby.... You didn't have to do that..." I say to him looking at the wonderful array of food

" well I know you're down in the dumps about your brother so I wanted to try and take your mind off of it as best as I could and well you do deserve the best." He says smiling his oh so gorgeous smile and taking a seat next to me

He prepared us a beautiful salad with grilled chicken and a home made ceaser dressing, also put together a small cheese and meat board, with two glasses of something white, and something tells me it's not water which I'm not complaining over. As we begin to eat we over look the city and point out a few of the places we ventured off to yesterday.

You know when I first came in contact with Ronnie I never would've imagined him to be this sweet and caring person but he is, he takes care of me and treats me how every woman deserves to be treated, I just needed time to get used to his wild fantasy side of things, which I have actually grown to like just as he said I would.

" so I was thinking..." he starts out slowly finishing his salad and munching on a piece of cheese

" oh lord I can only imagine what's going through your head." I say to him giggling slightly as I take a sip of the bitter white wine.

" your brother, he also made me promise to get you a dog of some sort, so how about we go do that?" He said leaning back on the couch with his own glass of wine and putting his arm around me

" really?! But are you sure you want a dog in this home? Not really much space for it to run around in." I say excited at first then coming to the realization

" the roof has a whole area of stuff plus a play area for the dogs in this building. Already scoped it out kitten." He said winking at me and I can't contain my excitement and I lunge into his chest wrapping my arms around his neck and kissing him over and over

" then my answer is yes ohhhh thank you thank you!!" I say excitedly

With that being said I helped him clean up our lunch then got dressed. I threw on a pair of black high waisted short shorts, and a cropped white t shirt, along with my new white doc martins. I threw on a few necklaces and some rings and did my makeup and quickly ran my straighteners through my hair.

As Ronnie and myself are walking out of the room I can hear pounding on the front door so I run to it as I can hear Ronnie yelling behind me but I'm to excited to wait knowing it could be the boys and my brother.

" kitten wait! Don't open-" he's cut off by me swinging the door open

As a scream leaves my mouth big tattooed hands come around my throat lifting me off the ground, screaming and kicking fighting for my life. I can see a bald man, he has a beard and tattooed horns on his head and a big scar going from above his eyebrow down his cheek bone.

" aye Ronald. How ya been man?" The man asks Ronnie still holding me high off the ground feeling the air slowly being taken from my lungs

" Alex. Terrible. I should have known I'd be seeing your face at some point." Ronnie says to him as I'm trying to figure out some way of getting out of this man's hold

" hmph, I see you have our little mouse. Andy's been looking all over for this and it looks like I'll be the one getting the big payout." Now knowing his name, Alex says chuckling and looking me in my eyes

I stop fighting knowing that's only ripping my breath from me more and calm my heart beat, I won't become a victim again in this story. I close my eyes and put myself inside another realm.

" care to put her down? Can't bring her to Andy if she's dead." Ronnie says staying calm and I know he's racking his own mind on how to get us out of this

Alex lets out a loud bellowed laugh that booms through the penthouse. Quite frankly it kinda scared me a little, this man is no Ronnie radke and definitely no Andy beirsack. He's big and I hate to say it but he's bigger than Ronnie is so we aren't getting out of this without bullets being fired off, unless.....

" why? So she can go crawling back to her little Ronnie that somehow can't seem to protect her? Even moved states with the poor girl and look at the predicament you're in. There is no hiding unless you both are dead and as far as I know Andy's got a bounty on both of your heads." Alex says releasing his grip just a little so he doesn't kill me because he knows Andy is the one that wants to do it.

That's when it comes to me, I lift my legs and kick Alex as hard as I can in the chest. Simultaneously as he falls backwards I drop from his grip and smack the ground hard choking and gasping for air but before I can't hurry and get away he's ontop of me with his fist wrapped tightly in my hair causing me to scream as he snatches me back into his chest. I hear a gun click and I can feel the cold metal of the barrel against my temple. Ronnie's face goes white and his body goes stiff

" I see why everyone likes her, a little spitfire she is, even if her actions are a bit stupid." Alex says down in my ear in the crook of my neck and I flinch away but he only grabs my hair tighter holding me in place

Before me or Alex can react Ronnie threw the wine bottle across the penthouse and it smashes right into Alex's head perfectly. I squeeze my eyes shut protecting them from the shattering glass, and I can feel Alex's grip on me release and as quickly as I can I run over to Ronnie he pushes me behind his back so I'm completely shielded from the mad man. I can hear Ronnie's own gun cock and I feel his arms raise which tells me he's holding it in Alex's direction.

" so here's what's gonna happen. You can go back to Andy and tell him it's war he wants it's war he's gonna get cause nobody, and I mean NOBODY is getting MY woman anymore, she's mine. She's staying right here with me. And whoever tries to take her will die." Ronnie says and I peek around him a tiny bit to see blood coming from Alex's head as he stands there looking at Ronnie like fresh meat.

" you and what fucking army? You really think you can take down Andy biersack? He's been in the hunting, trading and killing business way fucking longer radke. You'll die trying to protect your little mouse over there then she will be free to the wolves." Alex says standing tall his body rising and falling with every breath

" this army bitch. Now get the fuck out of this home or you'll die before you can even get back to Andy." I can hear Chris's voice say loudly seeing as how I ducked back behind Ronnie a few moments ago

" go now. " I can hear Jacky say and my heart picks up they made it back in perfect timing

I hear the door slam loudly and I come from behind Ronnie hoping to see my brother but I only see a scared Juno tucked behind Chris. My eyes fill up with tears as I walk around the island in the middle of the kitchen.

" hey Elliana..." Chris says tugging on Juno's collar and I drop to my knees as the pup finally sees me and runs to me excitedly licking the falling tears from my eyes.

Well no need to get a dog when I have Juno.... And I'm sure my brother didn't make it out... I hug Juno as he finally calms down and sits infront of me like a good boy and lets me hug his neck as I cry loudly. I can feel Ronnie's presence come next to me and he rubs my back and scratches Juno's ear a little.
