Chapter twelve

Lizzy: so where we going?

Joshua: I can't tell you it's a surprise.

Lizzy: ooh I love surprises.

* Joshua pulls into a parking lot*

Joshua: and here we are.

Lizzy: what are we doing here?

Joshua: you'll see.

* Joshua and Lizzy get out of the car and Joshua goes up to the door and knocks on it and A man opens it*

Man: come on in.

*Joshua and Lizzy go inside*

Lizzy: Joshua this place is amazing!

Joshua: call me Josh.

* just leads the way to a table with candles and two plates on it*

* Lizzy sits down and Joshua pushes her chair closer to the table and then he sits down and they start eating*

Josh: so how's band going?

Lizzy: it's been going great. How's football going?
josh: it's going

[30 minutes later ]

Josh: would it be too much if I asked you to dance?

Lizzy: of course not but there's no music.

Josh: see that's the other surprise

* Joshua leads her to another room and there's a band and they start to play*

Josh: May I have this dance?

Lizzy: of course you may

* Lizzy takes his hand and they start dancing a couple minutes later the music stops and Joshua checks the time*

Josh: we better get going it's already 11.

Lizzy: how long does it take to get back to my house?

Josh: 45 minutes
