Chapter Seven [after the game in the band room]

Sabrina: so this new boyfriend of yours. What's he like?

Lizzy: well he's got brown hair blue eyes, plays football . Look I haven't even been dating him for about a day so I don't know much about him.

*Jake and Chloe talking*

Jake: so you know the plan right?

Chloe: yep

Jake: all right let's go before she leaves.

*Jake goes up to Lizzy and Sabrina*

Jake: hey Lizzy can I talk to you alone for second?

Lizzy: um sure.

Sabrina: I'll see you later lizzy.

*Sabrina leaves*

Jake: I just wanted to apologize for the way I reacted and responded about the whole thing a year back and I was wondering if we could start over and just be friends?

Lizzy: well here's the thing . I'm kind of still trying to take a break from you so can we just hang out sometimes and not all the time?

Jake: absolutely. Do you want to eat lunch with us on Monday?

Lizzy: sure

Jake: OK great see you then.
