"So... we have to arrange what time I come over, Yang," you tap your foot impatiently against the floor and rest your weary head against your locker. In front of you is a sight for sore eyes; Yang Jungwon, who finally decided to fix his appearance for once and is searching through his schedule for a proper timing.

That's right. Tomorrow is your first day tutoring the Yang Jungwon.

"Alright, I have 4-6pm open tomorrow, " Jungwon replies indifferently after scrolling through his Calendar app for who knows how long.

"Prepare your notes from Ms Jung's class and I'll make worksheets plus bring over our textbook," you answer with a sigh. Why did you even agree to this? Jungwon would judge you to hell for making a worksheet with half-hearted effort, so of course you'd have to pour a painstaking amount of time perfecting the practice questions and revising the material so the lesson could progress successfully.

"Don't be late, shithead," Jungwon tucks his phone away in a swift motion and eyes you darkly.

You roll your eyes indignantly. Of course he has to piss you off.

"Yeah sure fucker," you shoot back. "Says the person who can't even wear their clothes properly."

"Okay Ms. Know-it-all, I suppose that's a part of your business is it?"

You scoff. "You need to mind your appearance as student council president. Who was the one that started this shit in the first place?"

"If anything, you're the worst thing that happened to me."

Satisfaction blooming in your chest from that retort, you turn away and happily make your way to the cafeteria, where a disgruntled Jisun sits playing Subway Surfers yet again.

"What's up Sun?"

"I can't ever make it past 100,000. It's so frustrating," she sighs. Jisun is Jisuning today.

"I doubt Subway Surfers is half as annoying as tutoring Calico."

SIde note, you both had code named Jungwon as Calico because it was the cat he reminded you of when you first saw him.

"Oh, right! I wish you best of luck Hwa," Jisun snickers teasingly.

"Why do I have to teach such an asshole? I bet he already knows how to work the content out anyway but Ms Jung just made me teach him, GOD!" you complain. Jisun shakes her head in silent agreement.

"You know what, we need to stop sulking over this, Hwa. One, it's a fucking waste of your time, two, you're already gonna earn so much extra credit from this, and most importantly, he means fucking nothing to you. He is just an irritating jerk who will come into and fade out of your life. He will not mean anything to you in just three years," Jisun berates.

You can feel the frustration and pent-up anger that emanates from her. An irked tone laces her voice. You gulp. Your best friend can be goofy at times, but she's also the strictest.

"Yeah, you're right, I just have to deal with it! Oh my God I'm gonna love tutoring Calico!" You cheer sarcastically.

"Yeah I know you're gonna love it!" Jisun follows along, before rolling her eyes. "No but on a serious note, I know you can do it. You have always persevered, and you will persevere through teaching this guy. Just think of it as a four hour lesson of global politics four times a week – it's a piece of cake for you."

You think hard. Maybe two hours isn't so bad after all.

"Alright alright," you brush off the topic. "Anyways, how's Heeseung doing?"

"He's been fine, I guess," Jisun huffs. "But he's so stubborn. I've told him so many times that smoking is gonna get him killed in the future and it's never too late to quit, but he's hard-headed."
