Brain's out, fresh red wine, jerking off from the cap, and reloading my Benelli M4.
In the heat of battle, I took down the enemy without hesitation, executing them in a brutal fashion with a headshot. I did not waste any time or energy, and my sole focus was to follow the mission objectives. My approach was uncompromising: eliminate every enemy that stood in the way of completing the mission, and then return safely to base. I leave no room for error in my work, and my only priority is the successful completion of the mission at hand.
"Alright. Let's go." I let out a sigh of relief as I turned around, expecting to find her behind me. However, she was nowhere in sight. Suddenly, gunshots echoed in the distance, and I immediately started following the sound, determined to find her and ensure her safety.
"God damn it. Hang in there, I'm coming!"
My love and concern for her drove my determination not to leave her behind.
I saw her as a daughter and cared for her deeply.
As I made my way down the hallway, following the sound of gunshots, I kicked open the door at the entrance and found Zeremy standing there, desert eagle in her hand, having just taken down three enemies single-handedly. The sight of her safe and sound filled me with relief and pride.
That cocky and confident demeanor, together with her strong body language, solidified my belief that she was a true warrior. I couldn't help but admire her and feel extremely proud in that moment. With a warm smile on my face, I drew closer to her, placing my index finger and thumb on her chin and tilting her head as I checked to see if there were any cuts, bruises, or signs of injury on her. Thankfully, she appeared to be unharmed. She was tough, strong, and unyielding, a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield.
"Well well well, sweetpea, you've done a mighty fine job here. I have no idea how Pope would react if he had been the one on this mission with you." I tease a little bit before pulling my fingers away from her tender chin. I gave a soft chuckle as my concern was replaced by a quiet sense of respect and pride in her abilities.
"But seriously kid, you're quite the warrior," I added, she laughed softly and smiled playfully in return, relishing the moment of victory and the admiration of her comrades.
"Give him a break," she said with a mixture of softness and cocky confidence. "That guy has been through hell, and let's be honest, he's not in the best mood today."
Despite her playfulness, there was a hint of concern in her voice, and I knew that she cared so deeply about Santiago Garcia but was trying her best to keep things lighthearted.
Zeremy and Santiago have had something more than friendship since we met.
I couldn't help but let out a hearty chuckle in response, fully aware of Santiago's sour demeanor when he's in a bad mood. I knew she had a point, as his mood could be a real wildcard at times. Though I wasn't keen on letting her off that easily, I wanted to keep her spirits high for a little longer. It was clear that she could handle Santiago's moods just fine, and I took joy in knowing that she had the ability to brighten up even his toughest days.
"Yeah, I get that. Man works too damn hard." I say affectionately, appreciating her playful banter and seeing the playful spark in her eyes. "Come on, sweetpea. We all know you can take care of yourself just fine. You're tougher than the lot of us put together. But hey, plus, at least he gave you his gun."
"Oh yeeaahh~ This right here mess some shit up."
I chuckled at her confident expression and the way she boasted about Santiago's desert eagle, clearly relishing in her new possession. It was always amusing to see her so self-assured and unapologetic, and I knew that being equipped with a powerful firearm like the desert eagle would only further enhance her confidence and lethality on the battlefield.
