Chapter 1

Summoning

Heavenly Realm

" Oh, Michael, I beseech thee, stay thy hand! ", begged Zarnael as Michael took his son away. "Tis my son, Arcanel, whom thou wouldst snatch away. ", he added. " Aye, to shield him from his father's dark sway. ", replied Michael. 

Present Day ( Human World- London, England- House Of Malfords )

" Dear, has Arcan woken up from his sleep ? ", asked Fedrich. " He's quite exhausted. Last night's test preparation made him burn his midnight oil. I insist on giving him a few more minutes of rest. ", answered Lynia. " I understand your concern but he will miss the bus and all his hardwork will go in vain. ", replied Fedrich. He visited Arcan's room, while carrying the morning breakfast. " Son, wake up, it's time for school. ", said Fedrich. " You don't wanna miss the test, do you now ? ", he added. " Yes, come in. ", a voice from inside called out.

Inside the Room

Fedrich saw Arcan studying at the front desk. " Did you even sleep last night ? ", asked Fedrich. " I did for three hours. ", Arcan answered. " Son, I know this test is important for your graduation but you should keep a check of your health. ", advised Fedrich. " I will ", replied Arcan. " Alright, take a bath, eat your breakfast and get ready. ", said Fedrich. 

After a few minutes, Arcan got down. " Do well and don't panic. ", said Lynia with concern. " I will keep that in mind. ", replied Arcan as he went off to school.

On the Road

" Good morning, Archie and Aiden. ", greeted Arcan. " Are you all prepared for the test ? ", asked Archie. " I will hopefully get a good grade in it. ", answered Arcan. " We are going to have a tough life ahead. ", said Aiden. " Not if we are all together. ", replied Arcan. as he laughed. " Master, we have found the right specimen for the ritual. ", said a man, wearing a black overcoat from a distance as he followed the trio.

House Of Neryons

" Keep me updated. ", replied Yurben, the master of the house. " The embarrasment I endured from the hierchy shall be sorted by revenge. With the seven primordial demons from hell, I shall take up my fallen position. ", he added.

Afternoon- 3:30 pm

" The test was easier than I had expected. ", said Arcan, as they left the school. " I skipped the last two questions as I ran out of time. ", replied Aiden. " Hey, why don't you guys come over to my place ? We can have a little get-together. ", asked Archie. " Sounds, good to me. ", answered Arcan. " Arrive at 6 pm. Don't be late. ", said Archie, leaving the scene.

House Of Malfords

" Welcome home. How was your exam ? ", asked Lynia. " I aced it. ", answered Arcan. " Archie has invited me on a get-together. ", he added. " That's sweet of her. ", she replied. " Be safe on the way. ", said Fedrich. " Remeber, not to go empty handed. Carry some sweets with you. ", added Lynia. " Alright, I will keep that in mind. ", replied Arcan.

House Of Michaelis

Arcan and Aiden arrived at the doorstep. " Coming empty-handed won't look nice, so I brought some sweets. ", said Arcan. " I got drinks. ", replied Aiden. They rang the doorbell. No response was heard from the other side. " That's odd, she should have arrived at her house earlier than us. ", said Arcan. " She probably is in the kitchen, preparing the meal. Try again. ", replied Aiden. Aiden tried but there was no answer. He twisted the door-knob to find the door unlocked. " I am having a bad-feeling about this. ", said Aiden. The interior was in chaos, with blood spilled in the floor. " We must ensure Archie is safe. ", replied Arcan with concern. As, they investigated the place, Aiden was shot with a dart gun. He fell down unconscious on floor. Arcan rushed to his rescue but was also taken down. 

House Of Neryons ( 2 days later )

" Are the specimen doing well ? ", asked Yurben. " Yes, we are keeping a check on them. ", answered Hailey, one of the housekeepers. " Wonderful. Very soon, people will acknowledge my triumphant rise. ", replied Yurben.

In the Basement

" I hope we aren't lacking in hospitality. ", said Yurben as he looked at the three individuals. " Torturing us for two days, giving us just water to survive, is this what you call hospitality? even prisons have better living conditions than this. ", replied Arcan, as he glared at him. " You are a special kind. The dose was enough to have knocked you out for 3 days and yet you regained consciousness within 6 hours. You are the perfect food. ", said Yurben, gently rubbing Arcan's face. " Get your hands off me! ", shouted Arcan. " Don't raise your voice against your elders, boy. ", replied Yurben, punching his face. " Now come with me. ", he added. " I would rather be dead than to come with you. ", replied Arcan. " That didn't surprise me. ", said Yurben. He called out for his butlers. " Oh, you will change your decision willingly. Watch with your own eyes how my butlers violate your female friend. ", added Yurben, as he laughed viciously. " Don't you dare !! ", screamed Arcan, as he broke open the handcuffs and proceeded to protect Archie. Unfortunately, he was outmatched. " That came out of nowhere. To break these magic-imbubed hand-cuffs, is a sign of extraordinary strength. Although, you are just an ant. ", replied Yurben. " Leave them out of this. I will do as you want. ", said Arcan, gritting his teeth. " Wise decision. ", replied Yurben, with a smug on his face. Arcan was dragged to the ceremonial chamber.

Ceremonial Chamber

Arcan was laid down on a marble block, in the center of a summoning circle. Yurben, along with his butlers and housekeepers, gather around Arcan. With a dagger, he impaled Arcan. Screams of the boy echoed around. "Hark! By yon ancient words and mystic spell,I summon thee, primordial demons from hell.From depths obscure, arise at my behest,to serve my bidding, by thy power manifest.With incantations old, and charms untold,I bind thee to my will, as ages unfold.", he chanted. As, Arcan's blood made contact with the circle, a brilliant spark of light devoured the entire area. " My victory is certain now. ", said Yurben, with pride. His happiness was crushed down in no time. The light diminished to reveal two angels floating above the circle. " Impossible, the demons should have heard my voice. How can the summoning fail ? ", asked Yurben in shock. "Behold, thou wretched soul, thy fate is sealed,to dwell in darkness, from light forever shield.Thy deeds of malice, thy heart of stone,Have earned thee this infernal throne. ", replied the angels as they condemned his soul to Hell. All the members of the house fell like flies on the ground. The Angels looked at Arcan to realise his true identity. "Hark! What sight doth mine eyes behold, Tis our brother, on earthly soil so cold.", replied Bercael, one of the angels. "To walk among mortals, with wings concealed,
Yet his presence, to our hearts, is fully revealed.", added Kazanel, the other angel. They healed Arcan and took him off the scene.
