Dazai doesn't sleep. Correction, Dazai couldn't sleep. He lied awake staring at the ceiling out of pure boredom. He sighed, closing his eyes as he relished in the silence - ignoring Chuuya's snores.
He opened his eyes again, turning his head to face Chuuya, “Chibi..? You're so loud..” he whispered, trailing his fingers through his red hair.
It was soft, in comparison to Dazai's rough hair. Dazai sometimes wonders how he gets it so soft. He would ask, but Chuuya would ignore him - probably assuming he's going to tease him because of it.
Sighing, Dazai stood up, leaving the bed and making his way to the bathroom. Staring at himself in the mirror, he groaned before slapping himself across the face. A red mark graced his face, as he did so.
He slapped his face again, “Go to sleep. Go to sleep.” he repeated before making his way back to bed, getting in it and attempting to sleep again.
(It didn't work.)
[Dazai and Chuuya's apartment, 7.43am]
“Hey you fish bastard, get up.” Chuuya spoke, yawning as he ran his hand down his face, “We have to start that shitty channel.”
“Uwaa~ Chibi's so mean..” Dazai whined, his voice playful as he rolled around in bed.
Frustrated, Chuuya yanks him off the bed dragging him over to the couch in their living room, “For someone who hates the idea of creating a YouTube channel, you're really pushy.” Dazai says teasingly, as he watches Chuuya make his way to the kitchen, kicking his legs happily.
"Oh, fuck off, Mackerel!” Chuuya shouts, his vein popping out of his head, as he focuses on cooking.
Becoming bored, Dazai decides to start the mission early, picking up the camera provided to them - that Dazai left next to the toilet - he begins to record.
“Hi,” Dazai begins, extending the ‘i’ in ‘hi’ as he waves towards the camera, “Who's ready for a day in my life? As a person living in Yokohama!” Dazai exclaims, doing jazz hands as he smiles towards the camera.
Chuuya - curious on what he's doing - turns around only to be met with a camera to his face, “Hey! What the fuck?” Chuuya yells, slightly spooked by the sudden camera in his face, as he uses his ability to move away from him.
“Sorry about him! He hasn't been trained yet, but living in Yokohama makes it so hard to train him, when there's constant gun fights everywhere.” Dazai says playfully, touching Chuuya and nullifying his ability, before moving to catch the falling camera.
Chuuya begins grumbling to himself, and begins to cook the food more vigorously than ever, “I'm gonna go out Chibi, be a good dog and stay here for me, will you?”
Dazai looks at him playfully, winking at him off screen. Getting the hint, Chuuya begins to play along, huffing as he did so, “Eat first, bastard. Can't have you walking inot the middle of a fucking gunfight on an empty stomach can we?” Chuuya says, plating the food and placing it down in front of him.
“Ew, it's eggs. Could you not have made crab, Chibiko?” Dazai asks, setting up the camera so both of them are visible in the shot.
Chuuya opens his mouth to speak, before he's interrupted by the rapid gun fire outside, “Don't tell me it's already started?” Chuuya says, sighing as he drops his fork onto the table, running his hands down his face.
“Do you think it's serious enough for us to go into the bunker?” Dazai asks, retaining his childish demeanour as he looks at Chuuya for advice.
Chuuya stares out the window, tilting his head to the side before turning back to Dazai, “It's better safe than sorry.” he says, “Come on, can't have you fucking dying on me, can I?”
Chuuya grabs Dazai by his collar, pulling him into their bunker, locking the door behind them, as he's doing so more gun fire could be heard.
“Will be here for a while, won't we?” Chuuya asks, staring at the door in deep thought.
“Yeah.. we will.” Dazai replies, his voice more serious. He turned back to the camera, “I'll update you once it passes, see ya.”
And with that, Dazai turns off the camera.
“Finally! Acting as if I cared about you was one of the shittest things I've had to do!” Chuuya says, a grin forming on his face at the thought of not having to act anymore, “Is the footage good enough?”
“Yep!” Dazai replies with a smile, as he gets up from his seat, making his way to Chuuya as he unlocked the bunker door, making their way back into their house.
The bunker was especially made for scenarios such as this, and the gunfire outside was all staged by their men. Although, they don't know that.

“Have you seen the new Crabby video?”
“Yeah it's so sad!”
“I agree, I can't believe the people of Yokohama have to go through that!”
These were all common whispers shared throughout the school, as everyone shared empathy towards the teenagers - with quirks?? - stuck within that crime ridden city.
Shota Aizawa, Class-1A's homeroom teacher - and the answer to the current craze circling around UA high.
He entered the classroom - tired as usual. He looked around, sighing as he noticed all of their concerned faces, deciding to act upon it, he decided to start the lesson, allowing them to ask questions once the lessons were over.
[UA high, Musutafu, 11.45 am]
“Lesson ends in five minutes, I know you're all burning with questions, so I'll try and do my best to answer them.” Aizawa spoke, his voice monotone as he rubbed his eyes, attempting to get himself to wake up a bit more.
Hands immediately shot up. This was going to be the longest five minutes ever.
