Playing I have questions by Camila Cabello

Gods are selfish.

You look to all the human knowledge you know about us and praise us for gifts we bestow. You worship us and offer up sacrifices as if that one good deed will land you in heaven. It won't. But You only know half of our story.

Gods are greedy. We are narcissists in a disguise as a saint. We thoughtless, never once did we try to help the fallen humans who had suffered over these decades.

We don't care for your lives. We don't care for
Your hardships or the plagues you battle. We couldn't care less.

Our kind are everything you thought not of.

They drink and feast their lives away up here, no thought to the worries and problems of others. We laugh at your mishaps and find amusement in your entertaining lives.

We aren't saints. Or saviours.

Gods aren't who you think we are.

But so are humans.

Humans are just as selfish.

Murder, theft and every kind of sin to be committed. They are just as greedy and self absorbed. The things they commit are horrific on every degrees. There is a reason hell is a place.

I can't blame their nature.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree, the humans the offspring of our collective power.

Gods are just as bad as humans, yet more privileged and prideful.

Why create a world full of the wrongs of not only mankind but us too?

We give humans the belief of an after life with the promise to commit no sin, yet we live happily up here to do that same sin? We demand worship and belief only to misuse it for our own uses?

Spiteful.

Sour taste in my mouth that never left the day I was brought into this realm.

It's funny.

I hate gods.

I hate humans.

But I can't help but love the discord, the chaos they bring to my tea party.

Murder holds the teacup with its left hand, the humans drink it slowly.

Greed adds the sugar to its right hand, the gods gulp it down.

Selfishness adds the milk to both right and left, born humans and the gods happily drink.

And I watch, my face split into a mix of disgust and a maddening desire.

For what?

A desire for more.

More chaos. More crime. More greed.
