"Best day ever!" The jovial voice of Brady declared. And Sandy, his cousin, couldn't help but silently agree. A day spent in the endless sunshine, riding on the waves, with the wind in your hair was a good candidate to consider it the best day ever.
Besides the fact that Sandy was third-wheeling her cousin and his girlfriend the whole day. That was the denominator of today, even if they both told her consistently through out the day that they didn't mind her tagging along with them.
"Yeah, it was pretty awesome, huh?" Mack, the said girlfriend, who Sandy had actually become close friends with during the few weeks her and Brady have dated, smiled and laughed in agreement. Brady looked to her incredulously, saying "Awesome? Surfing all day, us being together" while softly squeezing her hand he was holding with a smile.
"And having Sandy here with us. Awesome wishes it was this awesome" Brady finished off, turning his head to look back at Sandy with a smile. Sandy of course, smiled back, adjusting her hold on the surfboard under her arms.
