Leo's POV: As I did my normal drive around the city nothing was new, and there was no sight of Phantom. Just as I walked out of a small store to get a quick snack I heard a familiar voice "I see that you met a friend of mine." I walked to where the voice came from "Who's there, and what do you mean 'a friend of yours'?" The person who was messing with me came out of their hiding spot, "Phantom." "The one and only," she replied, her voice carrying a hint of amusement as she emerged from the shadows, her smirk hidden behind the mask she wore.

"Wait, so you're saying you know Alex? You're friends with her?" I questioned, immediately thinking of her as the first person who came to mind. "No, I just consider those I assist as friends," Phantom clarified. "So, Alex works with you then?" I probed further. "No, I operate alone. Think of me as Santa Claus," she quipped, a mischievous glint in her eyes under her mask. My surprise was evident as she mentioned that mythical figure.

"You're already under arrest, and now you're comparing yourself to a legend? Discussing myths is against the law," I stated firmly, keeping a close watch on the enigmatic girl with her striking purple-blue hair, wondering what her next move might entail.
"Leo, Leo. When will you learn that you can't arrest me if you can't catch me?" she taunted, a hint of amusement coloring her voice. I felt a surge of anger rising within me at her mocking tone.
"Why reveal yourself now?" I demanded. "Because I wanted to tell you face-to-face that this game of cat and mouse is quite entertaining," she retorted, amusement evident in her voice.

"How have you been slipping through my searches?" I pressed. "It's simple," she replied before vanishing into thin air, leaving me bewildered. "What the hell?" I muttered, taking a step forward. Suddenly, her voice echoed behind me, "Boo." I jumped, startled by her unexpected reappearance. "What the hell?" I exclaimed, caught off guard by her boldness.

She tilted her head, a smirk playing on her lips. "You know that the government is full of crap, right? I mean, you said it yourself, 'There's a lot of corruption in the government,'" she reminded me, using my own words against me.

I sighed, feeling a twinge of frustration. "I know what I said, but the corruption is going down. The President is dealing with it as we speak."

"Tch, keep telling yourself that, Leo," she retorted, her skepticism palpable.

"Why are you doing this vigilante stuff? Are you against the government? Do you believe that the President isn't dealing with the government's problem?" I questioned her tone, challenging and curious all at once.

"I'm doing this vigilante stuff because it's right. What the government is doing is wrong," she declared firmly, her voice muffled by her mask.

"So, that's what all this is about?" I asked, stalling for more time, hoping the other cops would arrive soon.

"Yes, and more," she added cryptically, her eyes flashing with determination. As the seconds ticked by, I couldn't shake the feeling that there was a deeper layer to her mission, one that went beyond mere justice. But before I could delve further, the sound of approaching sirens signaled the end of our conversation and the beginning of a new chapter in this game of cat and mouse with the forces of authority.

"What else are you hiding?" "I'm not telling you that, it's classified." "How long do you plan on avoiding me? Avoiding the fact you're wrong?" I could tell she was glaring at me as I said she was wrong "Till the government admits that they are wrong and I'm never wrong." "The government isn't doing anything wrong. they're dealing with the problem now." "Phft, that's a bull face lie and they know it. you cops are just blind."

"How do you know that? you think you're so special?" I could tell she wasn't going to change her mind, "Look, Leo, I've seen what they are really like, what they're actually like do and they like to lie about it." "And instead of telling people you become a criminal?"

"I'm not the criminal they are." she raised her voice she started to get angry "I'm not the bad guy, they are. I help people they don't." In the far background, I could hear the other cops on their way "Sounds like your friends are on their way, Too bad you guys will never get me." and with that she vanished into the night disappearing mysteriously.
