ch15.5 | MD - Cabin Fever - pt2

Y/N uses his solver to bust the cabin's door open. He retreats inside, panting like a dog from the long run. He uses his solver to shut and barricade the door, shattering all the lightbulbs and closing the blinds. A high-pitched ringing plays in his ears as does the sound of a clock ticking. He looks up at the clock and tries to use his solver to break the damn thing and get rid of the noise. But as he does a burning pain is felt in his forearms, it feels like something crawling from inside of his skin. A voice rings out in his ears.

"I will take control," Cyn says with a child-like giggle.

Chapter 15.5

N is trying his hardest to hold back V. " V! We can't hurt Y/N!" 

"Yeah! What the hell!" Uzi buts in, taking out her railgun, and aiming it toward the Murder Drone.

V points one of her blades toward Uzi. "Shut the hell up, purple thing!" She turns her head back toward N. "We had him chained up when he first got here! But you let him out! If you hadn't let him go that "thing" would be leaving us alone!" 

"I don't know what you're talking about because you won't tell me!" N yells back, switching to his blade hand, clashing with V's to push her back. "What are you so afraid of!?"

"I'm not afraid..." V lies, pointing her blade towards N's neck.

"Bullshit!" Uzi yells pointing her finger at V. "I'm scared! N is too! Hell, even Y/N was! Don't give us that BS!" 

N follows that up with. "He's a kid! Like us V! What is wrong with you!" N throws the clipboard towards V. "Look after the campers." 

"I'm coming with," Uzi claims, getting on N's back as the two set off to find Y/N. 

"Hot," Lizzy says walking towards V, V gives her a scowling look. "Not hot!? You're too good for him." 

V walks away from Lizzy stomping in front of the campers. "Do whatever you want." V scoffs, continuing to storm off. 

Rebbecca, the bitchiest, second to Lizzy of course gives her "boyfriend" Darren a look and gestures into the woods.

Later
Rebbeca's dragging Darren through the woods that for sure doesn't contain a mentally ill human being used as a vessel for a creepy eldrich child's murder plan. That was so specific it makes you think there is that exact thing in the woods, good thing there totally isn't though. 

"We need to sneak this far just to make out?" Darren asks, pulling his sunglasses(That he doesn't even need) down while raising his eyebrow.

"It's about mood, Darren." Rebbecca says in this "preppy white girl" ass voice. Continuing to drag Darren through the woods. 

Eventually, they both reach a long abandoned cabin at the end of the trail. Thunder that wasn't at all present before, cracks overhead for dramatic effect. 

"I get it now," Darren says, with an understanding nod.

Darren pushes open the door, clicking the light switch next to it, yet none of the lights turn on.
     I wonder why?
Darren rams his shoulder into the door to push it open, past the makeshift barricade that was blocking it. A lighter falls from the ceiling, prompting Darren and Rebbeca to go take a look. Darren grabs the lighter and lights it, the flame flickers the first couple of tries before it finally lights, providing them a light source. 

The door behind them slams shut, the gust of wind making the flame go out. Darren tries desperately to re-light the lighter, and when he does he and Rebbeca turn around, seeing only darkness. two tiny yellow glowing X's appear behind them, like two eyeballs. And a voice calls out.
