Recap

Uzi nods, her hands slowly going from the wire down to Y/N's hand laying her hand on his. Surprisingly Y/N doesn't stop her. The two lock eyes with each other and their faces get ever closer to one another. . . Ben walks in carrying a bottle of water and two small pills, probably for Y/N. Uzi and Y/N separate from each other and silently pray Ben didn't see anything. He absolutely did, he just didn't care. If anything he was kind of proud of his brother. But right now he only really cared about getting Y/N back home before dad realizes the two went to a party, even though he probably wouldn't care it's better to be safe than sorry.

Chapter 11

In dead of night in the colony, the lights to the school cut off. A lone light in the middle of a hallway flickers highlighting a missing poster.

A worker, Kelsey runs for her life through the halls of the school building. The cheerleader is stopped in her tracks when her glasses crack, rendering her nearly blind. In a fit of panic she takes her glasses off looking into the eerily dark corridor, seeing nothing she puts the glasses back on, looking through the cracked lenses. A security camera glitches and jitters, red lines of code flash above as the device is turned off. Kelsey's heart drops, her eyes widening as she looks into the now occupied corridor. Doll, the Russian drone, stands there her ominous red eyes being the only thing visible in the darkness. He raises her hand, the Absolute Solver logo appears in the middle of her palm, with a flick of her wrist she uses the solver to rip Kelsey's arm from her body making the latter scream desperately grabbing the stump where her arm used to sit. Doll starts slowly walking towards the now amputated girl, using her solver to spawn a meat cleaver seemingly from thin air. With the raise of her arm, she duplicated the cleaver, turning the one, into three. Another flick of the wrist makes the cleavers begin to dart towards Kelsey. The last thing we hear is the gut wrenching splatter of oil.

A robo-roach is seen lapping at a puddle of oil of the floor, another roach comes and smacks the other one scaring it away. Doll steps into her apartment carelessly crushing the roach, making sure to grind her foot on the ground to kill the thing if it wasn't dead already. She tosses her backpack to the side, using her solver to take out the books inside, placing them on her self. Grabbing a pen she checks off the name "Kelsey Day" from her list of names.

(I'm back, Mom, Dad.)
"Я вернулся, мама, папа." Doll announces to her "parents" looking into the darkness of her dilapidated apartment.

THE NEXT MORNING
Y/N wakes up, gasping for air. He sits up in his bed cursing to himself. These dreams, they just get more vivid, more psychotic the more he gets them. His hands trace the wires coming out of his forearms, he's tried ripping them out, they won't budge. All he ends up doing is hurting himself, making himself bleed from trying to pry the things from his arms. He hates looking at them, he hates thinking about them. It doesn't feel right, not one bit. With a groan Y/N pulls himself to his feet grabbing the clothes off his bedroom floor and bringing them up to his nose. The tired 18 year old fights with the voice telling him to just go back to bed. Y'know what? Fuck it. Y/N goes back to the comfort of his bed not wanting to bother with going to school. Nothing except boring classes and shitty school lunches are there for him anyway, not even Uzi. Of course, he's exaggerating everything in his mind. To him, that night at the party, he thinks Uzi hates him cause of a drunk mistake. Which, to be fair, she did avoid him a little. But it's been almost a week and still it feels like he fucked up.

Y/N doesn't want to do anything except wallow in his own self pity, feel bad for himself. What he doesn't realize is he's probably making things worse by avoiding Uzi. She hasn't answered calls, texts, nothing. Ben has tried getting him to talk to at least him but, nada. This was the closest Y/N's gotten to getting up in the week that's passed. Ben hates to see his little brother like this again, especially over something so small. But for Y/N, it really is a big deal, he's never had many friends that like him for, well. . . him. Uzi was that person, someone who understood him, was friends with him not because of the tough guy persona he wears. But because they could relate with each other on a much deeper level, they both know the pain of loosing someone, they both know what it's like to have or feel like you have no one. That's what connected them, what made the bond so strong.

But, Y/N feels like he ruined it, like he just shot himself in the foot. Deep down, Y/N's still that young boy, that young boy that just wants to be loved. He's very fragile, he's like a glass bridge, strong and sturdy, but one little thing could make it shatter into pieces. Y/N doesn't even want to sleep anymore, those dreams, the visions are getting to be too much for him. He's, mentally fucked, anyone in his shoes would be. In all the years he's lived, his life has been surrounded by death, and loss. He's seen so many people get shot, stabbed, maimed, it doesn't faze him anymore. He doesn't bat an eye to someone carrying a gun, because it's all he's ever known. He's not afraid of death, the opposite actually. When Y/N was bleeding out, after N, V, and J got into the colony, he was content, he was content at the thought of that being where he drew his last breath. He wanted it to be, he wanted more than anything for that stab wound to kill him. He begged the grim reaper to take his soul.

But the grim reaper refused.

AT SCHOOL
Uzi stands on a stack of books to reach her locker as she tries to get whatever it is she needs. Two drone's Rebecca, and Trevor walk past. Rebecca kicking the books out from under Uzi's feet.

"Meeting Brad in an hour," Rebecca talks to Trevor as if she didn't just kick the books out from under Uzi's feet.

Uzi catches the book she almost dropped and throws it at Rebecca, Braiden, his head still on fire, walks out of his class to get clonked right it the head by the book Uzi threw.

"Can you imagine going to prom alone?" Rebecca asks Trevor, just to rub it in to Uzi even more.

"Had. I'd be all like, 'I don't deserve happiness'." Trevor stops in the middle of the hallway, using his hand like a puppet before moving along.

Uzi lets out a soft sigh, walking over to grab one of her books. Grabbing, she looks up. Above the lockets are countless missing posters of the various cheerleaders that have gone missing. She looks to a janitor who's rather calmly mopping up oil, Kelsey's oil from the previous night. The security camera glitches and flashes a red solver logo for a brief moment. Uzi then starts cackling, like a super villain or something. Grabbing all the posters from the wall that she can carry. Rushing home and into her room, she continues her insane cackling as she strings the posters together preparing to add them to the weird cluster of papers on the ceiling above her bed. Only to find the ceiling paper free, someone took them down, and Uzi immediately knew who it was.

Khan flips through the pages that we're previously strung up on Uzi's ceiling. Placing them neatly on a shelf in a small closet, as he exists and walks away from the door a paper labeled "Nori's kooky insane stuff" is duct tapped to the door. Khan steps out of what is presumably his office, or workshop of sort, considering the door has his name on it on a very obvious plaque. He strolls around the corner and gets startled when he sees his daughter running at him, obviously pretty pissed.

"My crazed ramblings! Stay out of my frickin' room!" Uzi yells, stopping in front of her father.

Khan tries to sooth her anger with a father touch on the shoulder, but Uzi slaps his hand away almost immediately. "Personal space for very alarming coping mechanisms isn't covered under a. . ." Khan pauses before pulling out a fucking manual. "Non-optional family support structure."

Uzi slaps the manual from her dad's hands. "I'm sorry for being vulnerable for five seconds. okay!?" Uzi walks away from the man. "You were never there for me. And now Y/N is, and your trying to keep me away from him because you think he did something to me! If you wanna help now, stay distant. . . I'm going to talk to Y/N!"

Khan doesn't get a chance to protest, instead Uzi walks right past him, exiting the apartment in search of her human companion.
