A month. A whole month at this place and you still don't know who your bloody parent is.

How long does he expect you to wait?!

"Come on Dad..." You sighed. "At least tell me who you are. 16 years fatherless, I definitely deserve that!"

"Are you alright Adrianna?" Your best friend, Jason, asked appearing beside you.

"Yeah..." You smiled sheepishly. "Just, er, talking to dad again."

A sympathetic look crossed his face. He placed a soothing hand on you arm before pulling you into a tight hug.

"You'll be claimed." He muttered into your hair. "I promise."

"You're such a cheat!" You accused, shoving Percy playfully.

"Who? Moi?" He asked innocently, splashing you with water.

You laughed and splashed him back. This had been going on for an hour. You'd been having swimming races with Percy to pass the time. Jason had gone on a mini solo quest and wouldn't be back for ages.

"Fine, best two out of three?" Percy offered.

"You're so on!" You challenged, grinning wickedly.

Just as you were about to push off from the lake's banks, Percy stopped you.

"Oh my gods!" He gasped, staring at something above you.

"What? What?!" You demanded, feeling your head for anything misplaced.

Percy pointed a finger at a strange blue light above your head.

"You've been claimed."

Your head shot upwards in surprise. Sure enough, a blue glowing trident was hovering a couple of inches above you.

Holy Hera... your father was Poseidon?!

"Congratulations little sister!" Percy beamed after he'd got over the initial shock. He grabbed you into a tight, brotherly hug.

"Let's go tell the others. Oh it's gonna be ace! I'm going to be the best big brother EVER!"

And with that, Percy dragged you towards the pavilion ready to make the announcement.

(Jason P.O.V)

The familiar sight of Camp Half-Blood made me yearn to be there even more.

A week was too long to be away from my friends, from camp... from her.

The thought of seeing Adrianna again made me giddy. Being away for so long made me prioritise. I was going to tell her how I feel.

My palms were sweating by the time I'd got to camp and checked in with Chiron. I hadn't seen her on my way in, she was probably engaging in camp activities.

After saying hi to Piper, Hazel and Leo, I excused myself and began my search for her.

I'd made a small speech and everything for her.

But... er... where was she?

I spotted Annabeth talking to Grover by the Athena cabin and bounded over to her. As I approached, she turned and smiled at me.

"Hey Jason, how'd the quest g-"

"Yeah yeah, it was great thanks! Erm... Adrianna? Have you seen her?" I stuttered, growing more and more nervous by the second.
