1971

"NO! NO!" Diane Hopper sobbed and screamed as the doctors took her daughter. They took Eleanor Hopper to a room, a room with a rainbow on the door. Eleanor's twin sister wailed as they took her. Diane held Sara Hopper tightly in her arms with tears in her eyes thinking at least she had one of her twin baby girls. Jim Hopper had other plans though, he stormed out the door, anger brewing deep inside him. He caught up to the man holding his daughter.

"Where are you taking my daughter?" He fumed. The man simply ignored him. "I said...Where. Is. My. Daughter?" Jim said in a stern tone whilst grabbing the man by the collar and holding him off the ground. The man looked frightened but Jim was not prepared to have someone stab him in the neck, pumping him with sedatives and dragging him back to his wife.

1978

A now 8 year old Eleanor Hopper sat next to an 8 year old Jane Ives or shall I say a now 8 years old Twelve and a now 8 years old Eleven sat together they played rock, paper, scissors and Twelve kept winning. Then Dr. Brenner walked in, he smiled as he saw his two most powerful protégés. "Now, who wants to come do lessons first?" Dr. Brenner asked the two girls with shaven heads. Anxiety filled Twelve's ocean eyes, Eleven sensed her distress and volunteered.

"I-I will." Eleven said.

"Very well, Eleven, let's go." Dr. Brenner took her hand and guided her out. Twelve sighed and stared off into the distance.

"Why, hello there, Twelve." A man with blonde hair and a sickly façade sat down next to Twelve.

"H-h-hello." Twelve gulped.

Over the next few day the man with the blonde hair gained the young girl's  trust and one day he was talking with Twelve and he brought up how they can help each other out.

One guided Twelve to a pipe that was big enough for Twelve's small just barely 8 years old body. "Now, Twelve, I need you to promise me something, ok?" One asked. Twelve nodded. "I need you to promise that when I need you help when I get out of this place you will join me, you will help me, is that ok?"

"Yes."

"Ok, you're just gonna go through here, and Twelve, listen closely, when you get out you need to run. Run as fast as you can, or they will catch you and kill you. I believe in you Eleanor."

"Eleanor?" Twelve questioned.

"That is your name. You also have a mom and a dad, your mother's name is Diane Hopper and your father's name is Jim Hopper. And you have a twin sister, Sara." One held out a couple photos. Government photos like from their passport and whatnot.

There was a bang from above. "You have to go, now." One urged. Without looking back Eleanor crawled through.

1978

Eleanor was getting tired of walking through the woods. Eleanor missed Eleven. Eleanor walked and walked until she saw a man, he hid in the darkness but Eleanor walked up to him nonetheless. "What are you doin' out 'ere, lil' girl?"
