Evelyn's POV
I feel much better, the flu's finally gone! I hate being sick. Plus, I was bored to death. The only good part about being sick was, I got to talk to Amelia. Turns out she's pretty interesting, I learned a lot about her.
I'm thinking of getting some work done since I feel much better. I got my MacBook out and placed it on the table. I had some paperwork to grade and I needed to plan what to do for the next week. Gosh! Being a teacher is a pain in the ass.
I stretched as Sky jumped on my lap and purred. "Hi Baby," The next second, Luna jumped on my desk. "Hey," I petted Luna. "You guys aren't gonna let me work, are you?" I chuckled.
"I guess work can wait, I need to spend time with my babies." They were at Natalie's since I was sick. "Did you guys miss me?"
I carried Sky with me as Luna followed me to the couch. "Come here, baby." I patted on the sofa as she sat on it.
I got Luna's favorite toy and played with her. "I missed you guys." Sky purred as I petted his belly. I should give them treats. It's been a while. They both followed me, knowing I'm getting them treats. "Here," I got a text from someone.

Why does talking to her make me burst in laughter? Smile when I see her name pop up on my phone. Why do I wait for her to text me? Am I catching feelings for her- No! she's my student. We can't do that. Nope. Why am I even thinking about that?
"I need to go have a smoke, I'll will be back ok?" I spoke as I grabbed my black leather jacket and my keys. Sky sat next to me as he looked at me with his big blue eyes. I finished putting my sneakers and pet Sky one more time before closing the door shut.
"Fuck," I spoke. I should get a new pack. "I have only 3 left." I lit my cigarette and took a breath of it. I looked at my lighter as I exhaled. I put it back in my pocket and inhaled it again. I looked up the stars. The sky's so pretty.
What are the chances to meet Amelia? There I go again, thinking about her. I chuckled to myself. Thinking about her makes me smile.
