Chapter 2: Practicing

Several Years Later

Ember is now become a young women and is helping her father run the shop, but there is one problem.

She was unable to control her temper, one customer criticize about the Kol-Nuts.

"This is too expense and that is not made in Fire Land...."

Ember is struggling to calm down,

"Take breathe, make connection.." She mumble, but the customer kept complaining as it makes her more flames changes into different color.

"And they weren't crunchy and there enough sauce. I think this is rotten and you touch everything."

"Take Breathe and Make connection, Take breathe and make connection, Take breathe...." She kept saying to herself as with her flames bright red licks to purple.

"Do you even have a license for this? Why are you breathing like that?"

"MAKE CONNECTION!!" Ember shouted as she exploded, which she scares the customer and shatter the glass display. She was embarrass as she laugh "Sorry about that. Sorry, sorry!'

Flarry and Flatteria who nearby, pull out a FIRE DANGER sign which shows a chart of levels of Ember's anger color.

"She almost went full purple! I've never seen anyone go full purple!!" Flatteria said,

Ember apologizes to everyone, "Sorry Everyone." Then Bernie hurries over to the Customer, "Oh, please forgive my daughter. She burn bright, but something TOO bright, eh?" He blew the burning flower on the customer's hat.

"Nice hat by the way." He smile, "Let me make you a new batch! On the house!"

Ember jumps over the counter as she scoop up all of the glass piece as she was cleaning it up.

"Sorry Àshfá. I don't know why that one got away from me." She apologizes to her father, she puts the glass into her mouth and then chewing. Bernie assure her, " Oh, you are tense because of Big Red Dot Sale tomorrow. It has us all at a broil."

Ember was doing chewing as she split out the glass into a long glowing tube that she blows and mold innto a pane.

"I guess, It's just, some of these customers, they get me all, grrrr!!" Ember unknowing that she accidentally smooshes the glass with her hands. As she quickly fixes it, Bernie tells her "I know, I know. Just do what we practice. you are SO good at everything else."

"You're right. I'll get it. I just want you to rest." Ember smile as she blows the glass, smoothing it into shape. Ember couldn't help it but feel proud as she has one talent skill with the glass,

"Mmm. Done." Ember proud say as she was done putting the glass in the display as it was brand new,Bernie was in the middle of making Kol-Nuts but then he cough hard as Ember rush over to him. "Are you okay?"

She notices her father's tired eyes, "Just tired." She sigh, "Let me help." She helps him get off the Kol Nuts station and get on as she makes the Kol Nuts.

"Bernie, that cough is terrible!" Flarry smile,

"Almost as terrible as your cooking !!" Flatteria joked,

Bernine laugh as Ember say, "Ê.......shûtsh..."

Flatteria ask Bernie, "When you gonna put Ember out of her misery and retire, huh? Finally put her name on the sign out there." Bernie replies "Ah, she'll take over when she's ready."

Ember heard it, but she crackle up with a joke instead.

"And speaking of "Ready", we are MORE than ready for you to actually BUY something, if you'd ever get off your lazy ash." She said as everyone laughed at it as it was so humor.
