Romeo's pov

It's not possible! I heard the gunshot but I didn't feel anything, not the slightest bit of pain.

When I opened my eyes I saw Mercutio hugging me so tight. But why is he...?

NO!

"Mercutio!!!" I shouted.
"Find her-r a-and take g-good c-care of her." He said out of breath.
"Why? Why would you risk your life?!!"
"You're my brother I'd do anything for you, even die." He replied with a smile.

That smile, even in death he smiled. My dearest friend smiled at anything and everything. He took everything for fun. He wanted to be king of the world.

Red filled my vision.
This is for you Mercutio.

"Now that the dog is out it's time for you to-" he didn't get to finish before I blew his head off.

"Noooo" a female's voice screamed. It was Julia's mother.
Followed by her I heard the sound of Benvolio shouting at me. For me.

"I'm so sorry Ben. I- I couldn't save him in time."
He looked at our dear old friend and ordered some men to take him to the hospital.

Then he looked back at me.
"Romeo I- I have some bad news." He stated. "Julia she's..."

"What's wrong with her? Where is she?!! Speak the fuck out Benvolio!!"
"She's.... Dead. I'm sorr-"

Everything went silent. No she can't be dead, she can't.
I ran back inside and searched every room until I finally found her.

She was laying on her bed sleeping like an angel.

"Julia." No response.
I got closer, now kneeling beside her bed.
"Julia, amore please wake up. Look at me amore please." I begged, my voice now a stranger to me.

"Look I'm here now amore we can finally go back to our house." I looked at her still hopping for her to open those beautiful eyes.

"You promise me amore!! You promised that you won't leave me, we won't get separated, that even death wouldn't pull us apart!
You promised me till death!!" I screamed and screamed again but in no vain.

My sweet and beautiful Julia is now dead all because of these fucking war that our damn parents put us through.

I can't live a life without my Julia I can't!! I can't live in a world where she doesn't exist.

I pulled my gun out and aimed at myself.
"I promised you forever." I told her.
"This is our forever. Till death my Julia."

I looked at her one last time before I pulled the trigger and then, everything went black.

Third person's pov

Another sound of gunshot filled the air but this time it was from upstairs.
Everyone looked up.

Julia's parents, Benvolio, everyone.
When they went upstairs to find out what happens. Shock pure shock was written on their faces.

And another scream went out of Julia's mother. No one could believe what has happened.

Romeo was on his knees hugging Julia surrounded by a red pool of blood streaming out of Romeo's body.

He couldn't let her go. He followed her everywhere. He even followed her in death.

No one could believe what happened. The only son and daughter of the Montugue and Capulet are dead.

Death is the price we pay for love.
