Romeo's pov

We all sat at the dining table with only silence filling the dining room.
Julia and I well mostly I decided to announce our love to both families so they can stop this never ending war.

My sweet Julia was so nervous. She was sitting next to me bouncing her leg under the table. I was the only to notice it since all of them were busy eating.

"I have an announcement." The sooner I spoke the sooner we'll be finished and everything will go back to normal with no war and no shed of blood.

Everyone looked up at me waiting for me to continue. I looked back at everyone including the uninvited guests, Mercutio, Benvolio and Tybalt. I cleared my throat before starting to speak again.

"Julia and I." I looked at my beautiful woman sitting next to me. "We are in love." Every single one of them gasped. They expected everything but this.

"Julia." Her father looked at her with a suspicious gaze.
"It's true papa." Julia murmured looking directly at her father who was sitting right in front of her. "And he knows about the plan too."

"WHATT?!!" All of the Capulets shouted at the same time.
"What plan?" My mother asked.
"And Julia knows about my plan too." I spoke and everyones eyes now were back at me. My mama's eyes widened in shock and disbelief.

"No! No Romeo tell me it's not true." Both Mercutio and Benvolio spoke at the same time.

"It is true. And we're not ashamed of it. In fact..." I looked straight into everyone's eyes. "This will end your stupid war that started ages ago."

The room was filled with silence and glare. Glares at me and Julia. But two pair of eyes weren't looking at either of us.

Both Julia's father and cousin Tybalt were looking at each other. They were like speaking to each other through glares. I tried to read their expression but it was almost impossible.

"Tybalt what are you doing?!"
The silence broke with Julia's screaming at her cousin who grabbed her by her wrist and forcing her out of the house. OUR HOUSE!

"Let.her.go." I spoke firmly. "You don't want this Tybalt. You do not want any bloodshed." I spoke again now arming a gun at him.

He laughed. The damn fucker laughed. He was surely crazy.
He threw Julia into her parents hands and they dragged her away. Away from me!

"Romeo!" She screamed.
"Julia!! Sto-" I ran towards her but was stopped when I felt a gun at my head.
"Where do you think you're going?" Tybalt laughed for the third time and pushed me down.

Mercutio and Benvolio alongside the guards were fighting the men that surrounded us.

I tried to reach for my gun but he shoved it away.
"Keep dreaming Romeo. Julia's mine! She always was and always will."
"You're the one who's dreaming, Tybalt." I growled.

He grabbed the blue and white vase next to him and lifted it to the air before throwing it at me.

I hissed from the pain but he only responded with another laugh. That was the last thing I heard before everything went black. I was fading away.

No. I can't! My sweet Julia needs me.
She-she n-needs m-me...
Everything was now black.

I l-love y-you my J-Julia.

I woke with a sharp pain in my head. I looked around to see that I was in my room, in my bed, an empty bed. Where's Jul-
Julia!! She was taken from me.

I tried to get up from the bed when the door burst open by my two friends.
"Ah you're finally awake." Mercutio spoke.

"Why didn't you go after her?!" I growled grabbing him by the throat.
"It's not his fault Romeo!" Benvolio was the one who stopped me from killing him.

"I see you still have some strength left in you." Mercutio coughed his words out.
They both sat me back down on the bed.

"Don't worry we'll get her back." Benvolio tried to reassure me. But nothing will assure me until she's next to me.

"But when were you going to tell us about your relationship?" He said.
I didn't reply because I actually don't know. I didn't think of it.

"It doesn't matter!" I said.
"You're right." Mercutio said. "In fact we had our suspicions."
"You did?" I questioned.
"Well yes of course. You were different especially around her."

"She changed you." Benvolio continued for him. "Now all we need to do is get her back to you.
Do you have a plan?"

"Yes, actually I do." I smiled.

After discussing the plan, they both went back to their houses and I stayed awake all night.

My mother came during the meeting to check on me and when she knew about the plan she tried to speak to me to forget her and stop the plan but my mind was already set.

I was going to take back Julia.
To take back what was stolen from me.
My precious flower.
My love.
My wife.
My Julia!
