"They certainly were,mi cariño" She said smiling softly at him "I hope Wednesday's happy to see us, i left a dozen messages on her crystal ball. Still no reply" She said worried

"Fret not, my plum-lipped cupid, i'm sure she's dying to see us" He reassured Moriticia as they gave each other a look

"My dad is here" Ganesha said staring at the God from afar who was greeting and talking to people "I still don't understand why aren't you purple?" Y/n asked comparing Ganesha and his father, he shrugged " I hope i get four arms as well that would be cool" The three nodded agreeing on that

"Is your mom here already?" Ganesha asked Lysandra, who nodded as well "Yup... hopefully this goes well unlike last year " The gods had started fighting over their children on who was the best

Y/n didn't say anything, hugging her knees, her friends noticing right away "You know you can stick with us right?" Lysandra said pulling her in to her softly, Y/n nodded slowly

"That won't be necessary" They turned around seeing Wednesday, Y/n frowned at this confused "Why?" Ganesha beat her to it

"Come" She said grabbing Y/n's arm pulling her up, Y/n shrugged as she had no problem at all being drag by her Goth beauty

They made their way to the Quad, standing next to Enid as Weems spoke

"Nevermore was created as a safe haven for our children, DemiGods and Outcast, to learn and to grow, no matter who or what they are "

Everyone applauded her 

"I realize most of you heard about the unfortunate incident involving one of our students, but i'm happy to report that Eugene is on the mend and is expected to make full recovery, So lets focus on the positive and make this parents weekend our very best yet!"

"On the mend? Try in a coma" Wednesday said crossing her arms, Y/n kept quiet hearing this as Enid turned to face them "Have you guys been to see him?"

Y/n shook her head "You're his friend-"

"I'm the reason he's in the hospital" She said softly "That is not your fault okay? Maybe you finally scared it off" Enid said

"Maybe it went into hiding to avoid this weekend" Wednesday said making Y/n giggle a bit

"Look at this some things never change"

They heard Morticia from far away, Y/n's eyes widen as she faced Wednesday and then Moriticia and then at Wednesday again shocked knowing where she got her looks from

" I knew i should have worn my plague mask"

"Would you look at my family? Talk about toxic pack mentality, i give my mom 30 seconds before her judgey claws come out "

Y/n stared at the both of them

"You'll both live" She said frowning at them not understanding what the real issue is here

"Let's get this over with " Enid said Wednesday signled Y/n to follow her with her head, quickly walking behind her

"There she is" Gomez said smiling and Morticia opening her arms, Y/n stood behind a bit to give them their moment "Oh how we missed those accusing eyes and youthful sneer " Gomez said hugging her

"How are you my little rain cloud?" Moritica asked

"I thought thing was filling you in on my every move, i uncovered your feeble subterfuge almost immediately "

"So how's the little fella doing? Does he still have all his fingers?" Gomez said showing his fingers, Y/ snickered in the back getting Morticia's attention signaled this to Gomez who smiled widely covering it up quickly

"AH!! Nevermore I love you so!"

"Wednesday and I harvested hive number three" Y/n said placing a jar of honey next to Eugene's bed, Y/n took a deep breath trying not to cry

"I'm sorry Eugy " She said sniffling seeing the cuts all over him, his chest rising up and down slowly

Y/n felt a hand behind her, looking back seeing Wednesday, her arms wrapping around her neck falling down to her chest

"The bees miss you Eugene" Wednesday said softly looking down at Y/n who was holding her hand, God if her parents were to see this she would never hear the end of it, she rolled her eyes at the thought of that happening

Thing popped out of nowhere "Thanks for keeping an eye on him, any updates? "

"No"

Y/n frowned at this, thinking if Wednesday had thing follow her as well

"Y/n" Sue said smiling softly at her, Wednesday quickly letting go of Y/n turning around "Oh you must be Wednesday, we're Sue and Janet, Eugene's moms" Wednesday nodded at this

"He was so happy to have you guys as friends, Real friends"

Y/n kept a conversation with them as Wednesday wondered how she got into this situtation, Hugging, comforting people, oh but not any person, but a demi god, the child of the fucking moon, how? She usually disliked people like Y/n who sometimes had the similar energy as Enid, so why? Why did she take interest in her? And not normal interest, Love interest

"We should go" She said, Y/n turned around nodding "It was nice seeing you " She hugged them goodbye

"So what are we doing?" Y/n said smiling at her, Wednesday, who was walking at a rapid pace "None of your business " She answered a bit rudely, Y/n didn't really mind that, she was used to the goth girl's attitude or way of communicating, if you like that more

"Okay so what are you doing then?"

"Go with your parents, its parents day" Wednesday said clenching her fist feeling mad, Y/n didn't say a word

"Okay.." She said walking in another direction as Wednesday glared at her, her eyes widen realizing what she said

Y/n's an orphan... she groaned, this was all her parents fault, they made her mad, they made her feel this way, they made her take it out on Y/n, how was she going to apologize for this?
