Vasudev was elated to see Shylaja.Riya told Vaishali was alive. Sid broke down hearing his sister was alive and cried in Riya's arms.Vasudev get to know about Ramkumar's second marriage and Death of Vidhya and Manoj. At the Age of 25 Shylaja was forced to get married to her brother wish groom.She likes Kannan who was her Best Friend Vidhya's Younger Brother . Kannan also like her but before they could convey their feelings for eachother Manoj arranged the marriage for Shylaja with Manikandan who was a friend of him.

At their wedding night. He take her innocence without her consent. She pleaded him to leave her but after that she get to know that he want only pleasure from her.
