Chapter One

Maze Beatrice's Point of View

"One... two... three... one... two... three... that's nice! Valerian, chin up. Vance, medyo nawawala ka sa line. Okay... now, bow. Then... exit." The five of them sat on the floor due to exhaustion. They've been practicing for weeks para sa upcoming concert nila and here I am waiting for Ian to finish their practice.

"Good job, guys! We'll do a dry run by next week na." Paul, their choreographer concluded their practice at lumapit sa puwesto namin ng manager nila.

"How's their wardrobe? Tapos mo na sila?" Paul asked me.

"I still had a set left. My team and I could finish making 'em before the concert, so no need to worry." I told him and handed him a bottle of water. He just nodded and bid us a goodbye.

Tinulungan ko si Aki, their manager, na abutan sila ng drinks at towels. Lumapit ako kay Ian na nakasandal sa pader, "Rest day niyo tomorrow, right?" I asked and he just nodded.

"I'm tired. Why are you still here anyway? Aren't you and Rio going on a date?" He asked.

He's talking about Rio, his twin. We're not entirely together or in a relationship, we just decided that the three of us would take things casually and go on friendly dates when we're not busy.

Ever since we were kids, they were already obvious about how they liked me. Valerian always got nervous when I was around and Valerius was just chill about it.

And to be specific... I don't think I could see myself in a relationship. Whenever they ask bakit I don't want to put on a label, I just ignore them. They were too open to the point they wanna had the same relationship with me as what their parents had — which I find too overwhelming. I'm not Tita Vareen, baka hindi ko kayanin.

Not that I hate them, it just felt na may lacking, and I don't know what it is.

"He canceled it, he got caught up with his work. Besides, I'm here to invite you guys sa party ng step-bro ko." I saw him smirk na ikinairap ko.

Raiden is my stepbrother and Valerian has seen him as a rival since Tito Ziel held a survival show dito sa entertainment company niya. Both of them are scouted since parehas silang talented and I can't deny that they also have the looks.

Valerian never wanted to join, ever, not until Raiden mocked him about something. After that incident, Ian joined the company.

Ian won the survival show and Raiden's in second place, which I think medyo madaya, though I know they favored Ian more than my brother. I don't know, parehas lang naman silang may mali sa pag-iisip.

They saw how serious they were about their 'rivalry' so Tito Ziel put them in different groups. They oversaw how it would be chaotic if pinagsama sila.
