Valerian Gabriel's Point of View

"Tagal niyo ah," Vance rolled his eyes, sipping his drink alone at the counter. Virgo and Vaughn were nowhere to be found. Some guests were dancing by the poolside, while others were just chilling in the lounge area, and a few daring couples were sneaking off to make out.

"Si Maze kasi," I muttered, Maze shooting me a pointed look. Cute.

"Anong 'si Maze kasi' ka diyan," She shot back, and I noticed Vance giving us a knowing look, as if suspecting we had been up to something. Ang cute niya pag inaasar. I shouldn't held myself back in the car a while ago and fucked her all night.

Kung hindi lang dahil sa kapatid niya, I wouldn't go such lengths to be here.

"Look who's here oh! It's the one and only Valerian. Hello, Ice! Hi, Vance!" We turned around to see Raiden approaching us. Speaking of the devil...

Maze stepped forward and hugged him, "Happy Birthday, Enzo."

She handed him her gift, and peeked inside. "You really did it?" he asked, surprised. 

"Isn't that what you've been overreacting about since last month?" Maze told him. He opened the paper bag and pulled out the gift. 

Curious, nakisilip na din ako, it is a customized wireless mic. Sa design pa lang, I knew it's Maze's style. She likes to design stuff na may pagka-futuristic, cyberpunk-shit or what. Her styles matches my group well so wala naman kaming comment doon. She designs what she thinks will fit our looks and personalities. 

I just hate how she's giving such to his annoying brother. I don't care if it's his birthday. 

Raiden's busy admiring the microphone when I lowered my face to her ears. "He had one, tapos ako wala?" She glared at me, pushing me towards the counter beside Vance. 

"OA." Vance murmured which I heard. Yeah, OA na kung OA. Inabutan niya ako ng cocktail at saka ininom iyon.

I shouldn't feel this way. Masasabihan na naman niya akong unreasonable. Gusto ko, gusto lang naman namin siyang masolo. I hate how Rio and I need to draw a line. It's frustrating. 

"Thanks, Ice! Oh, by the way, Kuya Rio is already in the DJ booth. I think hinihintay ka niya." Raiden told her. Our eyes met, pero siya ang unang umiwas. Weird. Isn't he supposed to smirk at me and give me a look na kaiinisan ko? 

This guy is unpredictable. Kahapon lang halos magsuntukan na kami habang kina

So, Rio's here, too. Akala ko he's busy with work. 

"Yeah, Kuya Rio's looking for you two. Halos kasabay lang din namin siyang dumating. Tapos, ang tagal tagal niyo pang pumasok." Vance even replied. I couldn't help but to smirk. I'm sorry for keeping you guys wait. Sana hindi ko na kayo pinaghintay and just went home with Maze.
