Aeroplanes are a weird thing, one minuite. You're sitting down in an uncomfortable chair surrounded by strangers, then the next thing you know is ten thousand feet in the air, causing over the ocean.

Who thought sending a thirteen year old on a plane by himself was a good idea? Personally, I don't. I don't know if it was the fat man next to me who was idiotic enough to only buy one seat or the old lady behind me who was starting to smell like piss. Either way, I hate flying.

Twelve hours could not come soon enough, and suddenly the air hostess who was assigned to be my 'air guardian' was dragging me out of the plane to the conveyor belts with my suitcase on, the rest of my stuff was just sent straight to wherever the hell im staying.

I'm pretty sure im staying at a frat, as the headteacher said the boys their all had younger brothers, so they know how to be kind to me, i sure hope they do.

I grabbed my bag and went to where I was told to meet my chauffeur. The bright light in the room brought me to the attention of the sign that read 'CONNOR BENNET' in blue and yellow writing. On theme.

I go over to him, not giving my air buddy another glance. She was really starting to annoy me with her constant checking up on me.

"Hey," the man greeted as i went over to him, "I'm Mich.one of your new housemates. You must be Connor. Nice to meet you. "

He seems nice and not that fake nice that I sometimes am. He looks so American, with stereotypical shades, baseball caps, shorts, socks, and sandals. The list could go on.

"That's me," I tell him, trying not to let any form of tiredness get into my voice, but instead, I let out a yawn, shit.

He chuckles at that, instead grabbing my suitcase and telling me to follow him, which I do, after muttering some sort of apology, which probably made me sound drunk to anyone else around.

He led me out to his Mazda-MX40, which he seemed very excited by. "This is my car. it's basically a hangout spot on its own." I only nodded at that and let him continue.

"When we get to the house, your going to meet some unusual people, some of which not even im friends with," I pulled a confused at that, why does he live with them if he doesn't like them? "We live in a frat. It's a bunch of people in sports living together, i think it lowers dorming cost,"

That made me uneasy. Do they all know im only thirteen?

We've been on the road for about ten minutes, and I can barely keep my eyes open. He said we were three hours out of the university, which sucks because im so tired.

"You can sleep, Conn," he said, stiring me out of my slumber, "I'll wake you when we get there."

That was all it took for me to be out like a light."
