Tip No. 6: Avoid your neighbor as much as possible and if, somehow, he talks to you, be very closed off. You don't want to be on a lengthy conversation basis with them, for them figuring out too much can put an end to your investigations.
Aubrey abruptly stopped fishing through the snacks at her local supermarket when she her name being called out.
"Hey, Aubrey," her neighbor said. She froze, paralyzed by the thought of communicating with him.
"Oh, hi," she said in a clipped tone.
"How are you? I haven't seen you in a while."
"I'm good. Maybe we should catch up another time, I have to, uh, buy food before people come over," he glanced at her cart filled with junk food and Pepsi.
"Sleepover?"
"Yea, got to go!" She wheeled away, wiping a sweatstache off of her top lip.
Never risk him knowing. Never! She thought.
